Harassing phonecalls wanting money I don't owe.

Keep getting calls from 662-840-6720 with pre-recorded message for a Santos Reyes , he needs to call 1-866-828-3072.Evidently from a collection agency. Seems he gave false info to a clinic in Lancaster,Texas.The collection agecy is FRANKLIN COLLECTION SERVICE,INC They are located at PO BOX 3910 Tupelo, MS 38803-3910 E-mail FSCOLL@FRANKLINSERVICE.COM

Human call on 12-20 requesting info on insurance. Harrassing machine message on 12-21 to call the number with no info. Female machine message on 12-22 with only the phone number.I am going to contact our state's Attorney General.

Still going on today...just received the call, so beware.  I don't owe anyone.  I tried to call them back and they were very rude.   I am glad I type the number in and read all the comments.  Thanks everyone.

I have to disagree with those who say this is a legitmate collection agency. They do not allow me to speak with anyone. They won't even tell me details about what the charge is for. I am re-routed to an automated system that asks me for my social security number and TWO credit card account numbers. The automated system said it was for a charge for a Florida telephone bill. The next time I was re-routed, it told me it was for a Pennsylvania telephone bill. It won't tell me how much the supposed bill is for. I don't live in either state and my credit reports show NO outstanding bills for this supposed collection. AT&T was unable to confirm that any balance was due by me to their company.

This has SCAM written all over it. No "bill collector" should ever request all of this personal information via an automated system while being unable to provide you any information about the charge. Be cautious!

Calling for me to pay a bill that I don't owe.  I asked them for verifying information and they wouldn't give it.  I also got harassing phone calls from  256-665-9152 as well. They gave wrong address and wrong ssn.

Same here.  Calling for some female I don't know and never heard of.  I am male and dont owe anything, told them that, yet they keep calling.  Noticed that the first post is from 3 1/2 years ago so something tells me these d-bags don't change !!!

i do not know of any debt owed and not sure how they would have received my work tn...the message i received said not an emergency. they have been calling my home too. on weekends, after hours, etc..i have a small child at home and family in ms so it makes me think something is wrong

Yea,they are a collection agency in Tupelo MS.I think they do a lot of billing for NE.MS Medical Center,the hospital here along with the Dr offices and all the local business.I did not know they billed for out of state businesses.

They are a collection agency in Tupelo,I know this because I live in Tupelo.I thiik they do billing for almost everybody in town,a lot of it is medical.

They called my 20 year old son today and said that in order for them to let him off the telephone, he had to give them either a credit card number or his debit card number...bad thing is, he almost did but my wife stopped him.  They refused to talk with her or tell her what this was about, and my son isn't the most experienced person in the world.  Recommed that if they call you, hang up, quick!  I plan on calling the hospital that they said he owes the money for and finding out what the deal is, but I certainley won't work with them.

Getting calls in Paducah,Ky from them as well on a bill supposedly owed to a local hospital.

This is Franklin Collection Services. They do collections for AT&T and other companies. The best way to get them to stop calling is send a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail. Make sure you include they are not to call home, cell, work, family and friends. Then let them know that you are disputing the debt and request validity of the debt so you can find out who the original creditor is and go from there. Keep everything in writing with them. If they continue to call or don't send you information about the original creditor, report them to the Fair Trades Commission and see if the attorney general for your state has a consumer affairs protection department that handles things like this.

Yes, they do a lot of Medical billing, hey are calling me about money owed to a local hospital, and they also send letters and I do owe the $ so it looks pretty legit to me.

this number called me, i called back they didn't announce who they were when answer phone just said hello...they refused to mail anything, claim they already did, demanded i pay that moment over phone (which HELLO it's my right to have it all in writing and also smart so they can't scam me, which it sounds like what they do), and said they are going to file legal action and garnish my wages.

They call asking personal information and claim I owe a Debt for a company I have never heard of.  Upon calling said company I owed they did not even have me in thier system. When they called me again i provided them with the information i had obtained and asked them to mail me what they had and they refuse.  so be careful

After I received a call from 866-828-3072 my battery was fried and now my phone will not charge. Do not answer call.

Got a call today...and they only said hello!  Didn't sound or feel right to me so I hung up!

Just got a call from them for my Husband, would NOT tell me who they are representing and were VERY rude. Told the guy my husband works all day, but I would be happy to give him the messege, said that if my hubby called him and verified it was ok to discuss it with me, then he would...LOL Might be legit, but they dont have to be rude
