Called my prepaid cell this AM.  I've had the number 8 years, still getting calls for someone who apparently had it once upon a time.  Sure tired of paying for these lawyers, collection agencies, & courts to use my time & money in this manner.  Thought I had finally dispensed with them, but he must having started giving my number again.  OR these folks are waaaay  down on the food chain.

At least this guy from Baker Assoc. did leave his name, company, call back number on the message.

Assuming it was a debt collector since he said it was over a law suit.

Now they are using 855-395-9276.  Would not say who they were until I told him I had received a call the day before from a TM with Baker Associates.  Then he said he was them also.  Did not say, but acted like he did not know "TM".   Grrrrrrr

well i got a  cll from travis miller from baker&assoc 1866-834-1868 he was really helpfull and nice i did take care of loan that i took out i did not have a issues with them

Have no ideal who this Ted Davis is and if he's with a ligimate company why withold # ,,,,please stop these calls///

They aren't real. He told me was a court officer the more stuff I looked up online it's a scam

Really??   I received a call on 8/23/12 from the number of 866-8364-1868 from a David Robinson from Dallas County Department on behalf of Ted Davis  from Baker and Associate. They were threatening wage garnishments. I have not returned the call yet but will on Monday 8/26/13 just to see what this is about.. Thank you for your post I had no idea...

It is a scam.  I would NOT call them either as that will probably increase their calls  to you - especially if you do not owe any money.  Only a court order can issue wage garnishments.  There are many other numbers used - many coming from India and the message is the same.  Don't worry about it!!

Ted Davis called me today and left me a message saying that he worked for the Orange County Superior Court, and tried to settle a collection from 2003. Being that I am a former employee of the courts, I called him out on it. I repeatedly asked him if he was an actual employee of the state of California, Mr. Davis again lied and said yes. At the end of the conversation after calling him out on his BS, Teddy boy tells me that our conversation has been recorded, and that it will be played in court for the Judge.... Being that I am very familiar with the law, I again called him out. It is against the law to record a conversation over the phone without first informing the individual that the call is being recorded. Mr. Davis then called me a criminal(for a 10 year old collection??? LMAO!!). Shame on you Ted Davis! I hope your unlawful means of collecting an expired debt is a huge fail!

I just got a call from David Robinson as well...what ended up happening? I don't want to be scammed.
