received a call from them at 12:40 PM, line was dead when I answered.
Called back, a nice woman answered, saying the company name was "Membership Services",  I asked for what company, and they said it is a service provided for over 100 companies.
How did I get on your list?  She said it was likely through ordering from an infomercial (never done that) or a catalog order (don't do that either)
She said it I was called it was a solicitation call for their services, but that is a different department.  She offered to put me on their "do not solicit list" which amounts to their do not call list.

She was very pleasant, and apologized for the call and confirmed she had placed me on their do not call list.

sadly not, I have been on the FCC's do not call list for years, and got one today

They have been calling me twice a day.  Won't leave message.  Won't answer.  Very annoying.

have received many from this number the last week or two. i called back and asked WHY are you calling me (they identified themselves as "Membership Services")

Rep told me it was a marketing call and i can disregard it. Nice.

Have been receiving 2 calls a day for about 2 weeks.  Caller ID shows Combined Ins.  Answered the call a short time ago and listened to the message. Courtesy call message from Marketing Group.  I wrote down the number and hung up.  About 15 minutes later I was going to make a call, the line was still open and would not allow me to use my phone..the same message over and over again.  About 10 minutes latter I used my cell to call them.  They didn't seem to believe me and said they had no idea why I received the call.  I then held my phone to my cell so they could here the message for them selves.  They got a supervisor to hear the message.  They could not disconnect me...so I unplugged my phone from the hall to clear my line....total time with the same message, 22 minutes
