- Amy replies to duggansopinion| 6 repliesUpon reviewing my company phone bill, I found a charge of $42.45 for the past 14 months. This was a total of $594.30. After calling MLR and not getting anywhere with the floor manager John, I reached out to the corporate location and called Ed Dunne(954.579.5208). I could not get the corporate phone number but did get the mailing address:
My Local Reach
160 West Camino Real Ste 179
Boca Raton FL 33432
and fax #954.340.1697.
This charge was never authorized and MLR could not find the recording "authorizing" the charge. I filed a complaint with the BBB,Federal Trade Commission and the Florida Attorney General. I got refunded from MLR in the amount of $559.30. This did not include the taxes I paid on this fraudulent charge. DO NOT GIVE UP. Document everything and every person you communicate with. I held this company accountable and got my money back. - Amy replies to Me, tooThank you. This helped me and I got my money back.
The fax number for MLR is 954.340.1697 - Amy replies to AmyIt helps to use the words "I need to escalate," "fraudulent charge," and "dispute charges." Demand for a recording authorizing the charges. They can not come up with this because it is a fraudulent charge. Take names, employee ID#s, email addresses if you can get them. I am dedicated to fighting this company. If anyone needs assistance in this matter, please contact me at amy@pageandassociates.net

- Brad replies to Amy| 2 repliesEd Dunne was involved in a similar fraud shut down by the FTC. You should alert the FTC that the National Online scheme is up and running again. Reference the Epixtar bankruptcy in Miami along with Martin Miller and Stanley Myatt.
- Todd replies to Brad| 1 replyThese characters have reformulated their old phone bill fraud using CLEC billing. The FTC and FCC have thick files on these con men going back to their National Online and Epixtar frauds. Someone needs to put them in jail (AGAIN!!)
Here are some old articles detailing how these schemes work: http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,110486,00.asp AND http://www.ripoffreport.com/results.asp?submit22=Search+Latest+3+Months+of+Ripoff+Report AND http://www.newhousenews.com/archive/story1b121102.html - Kirsten replies to ToddEdward Dunne is the brother of Gerald M.Dunne Jr.(convicted felon) and former Nat'l Online and Epixtar executive and chief conman.
- james007 replies to Amyyer phone company will handle the taxes =P
- james007actually Rein Luning is the president/ceo of MLR, not Ed Dunne
- Jim ElliotBogus charges? ATT will apparently refund the the bogus charges 100% and "backcharge" the company responsible if you insist.
But, they won't tell you that.
ATT first offered to refund 3 months of bogus charges. I said thank you for that, but I want all of the bogus charges refunded. "I never authorized you to take money from my bank account and give it to anyone else." I was referred to a supervisor who pretty quickly agreed to credit me all of the bogus charges.
Please get it that ATT has no proof you authorized these charges. It seems they just kick them back to the creepoids that put them on. I was advised that after getting a "reverse kickback" of charges from ATT that the creepoids generally quit submitting charges, but to make sure you had to call them and "cancel" the services that you never ordered in the first place. Kind of humiliting to me, but I took the oportunity to ask questions and get to a supervisor.
I suspect that ATT gets a fee for servicing Bogus Charges and also has to give back the fee if the Charges are refunded.
If I sued ATT on this, or the Creepoids, I would subpoena the agreement between ATT and the Creepoids as well as the financial records of what ATT makes and what the creepoid pay. My guess is that ATT and the Creepoids will do what's needed to shut up anyone who asks for this information.
I asked, questions like, who is your "agent for service", who is your boss?, who owns the company?,
ATT says that the FTC requires them to add bogus claims to your bill.
FCC apparently don't require any verification of the validity of the charges and don't require or keep any evidence of your authoraization.
I called ATT about my (auto paid) phone bill and griped about bogus charges. The charges had been going on for over a year (my bad) my phone bill wa just a phone bill. My mortgage is just a mortgage. It's not a mortgage plus whatever some creepoid adds on without my permission. The reaons I autopay is so I don't have to think about my phone bill or my mortgage.
I think a whole lot of people are getting screwed by this and I'm pretty pissed off.- Caller: National Online Directory
