It is a timeshare.   I called this number back and asked who they were.  She wanted my phone number and I told her no, tell me who you are and why you are calling all hours of the night.  (Past 10pm)  They tell you a family member or friend signed you up as a VIP.  I told her there is NO WAY!! I told the lady to take me off the calling list and she said she needed my number.  I gave it to her and then she said she couldn't find me in the system.  I told her I did not randomly dial this number.  Anyways, they said they removed me.

Its Silverleaf Resorts... and yes, its a timeshare. They get people to visit their resorts and ask them for references. And they will be given $50 if their references go visit their resorts also. Just a trick to try to get everyone to buy their timeshare. So they could've gotten your number from a family member or friend. Just ask them how they got it. They should tell your their name.

As a Silverleaf member.... they ask you to turn in at least 5 numbers a week. When you run out of friends, family & neighbors, they tell you to get them from the phone book. They tell you this on the sly, like it's a big secret.
I am happy with my Silverleaf membership, but I do not approve of this method. I did it once and felt so bad about it, I never gave them another number, friend or phone book.
If you are a member the call may be to offer you free weekends or some other promotion; or a reminder that your owned week is coming up; or you are past due on your bill.
