Said they were from "Health Care".  This is the same type of message I get from other fake companies trying to sell prescriptions... EVERYDAY.  I think this problem is getting worse for everyone... the 800 numbers are cheap and are probably dialed from abroad somehow using VoIP.

I have been getting calls from this company for over a month on my new cellular phone.  Most of the time, no one answers when I pick up.  On the rare occasion I actually talk to a live person, I explain that they are calling a wrong number, and requested that they update their records and remove my number from their calling list.  I have spoken with a live person at least three times.

I was told the company name was Healthcare Provider, located in Woodbridge, NJ.  I spoke with someone who told me his name was Randy, who claimed to be a supervisor.  When I explained the problem (that I have no "free" minutes on my calling plan, so all calls cost me money), his only suggestion was that I stop answering my cell phone.  I requested that he look up my number in their system, and fix it so I don't get anymore calls.

We'll see if they continue to call.

I get called every so often by this number and when i pick up, at first no once answers, then after a few seconds some one does, they are looking for the same person every time, Perry. I have told them nicely over and over. Today I snapped. I yelled alot of profanity at them in hopes of them taking my number off so they dont have to deal with "not-perry"

I get regular calls, sometimes on a daily basis to my cell phone/PDA.  I got some new software for my smartphone (Treo 650) where I can automatically send the call into la-la land, lol.  It will hang up on them every time if I program it to do that, or just send it to voicemail (and they never leave a message of course).  The software is called BuzzOff - it works on Palm OS, but maybe there is something else out there for other folks without a Palm.  You can get Palm version at:  http://software.palminfocenter.com/product.asp?id=6233

Callers from this number are idiots! replies to sweetie_p_4_ever
    Very cool tip.
If only the software would be programed to dial them back 10+ times and hang up for every 1 time they call us.

I've tried doing this manually before and it was fun, but time consuming and obviously not worth it.

I ordered a prescription on-line about 5 years ago. A year later I ordered another. Since that time they have not had what I need in stock, yet they still call and call and call. I don't really question the legitimacy of their business I only wonder why they call to refill a perscription they haven't had for years. Oh, and the reason you are receiving calls with no one there is because they use a predictive dialer system so the call doesnt go through to the telemarketer until you pick up which creates a lag time.

I received a call today on my cell phone (it interrupted another call); when I answered, there was no response.  Also no doubt a computer-generated obnoxious sales call of some kind.  I thought putting your number on the No Call Registry was supposed to take care of this kind of thing!

i got call from a guy with a spanish sounding voice. he stated all the same lines/stories i read in the other posts. one twist after arguing about the removal of my number and him almost hanging up cuz "i was a waste of time" i told him i wanted some pentermine. he said now we're getting to some questions with real answers. as he was giving his script i would pull the phone away and scream profanities, belch into the phone, then pray while he was speaking. he then asked who was yelling at me in the background, my mom. why is your mom yelling at you? because she is a bit*h! how old are you little punk? 14.......no wonder she is yelling at you. (i'm 34 and mom lives 3 states away. he knew which state i was in. after he told me again i was wasting his time i said wait, i have a credit card. he said ok give me the number and shipping address. this went on until i almost peed myself then i said God Bless and i hiope i havent taken up too much of his time tonight. of course then he started verbally assaulting me until he had to hang up. i'm still laughing and grinning skipping and giggling. hahahahaha

I don't think the complaints with the National Do Not Call registry works. I just go directly to the FCC complaint site to file a complaint. FCC will send you email telling you the info has been submitted and logged and will be used by law enforcement. If we all add to it, it will get big enough for them to do something about it.

Received a call from this number this morning at 11:45am.  Called back and someone answered.  Very noisy background, you could also hear people speaking Spanish.  I asked him who they were and why they were calling me and he responded that they were "New Hope Pharmacy" and they were calling me about my prescription refill. When I questioned him why they would be calling me about a prescription refill, when I have never used their services, he just hung up.  I sure hope they don't call back, but if they do, I will not be answering.

I also reported them by filing a complaint on the "Do not call" website.  https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

Please try to do the same in case this actually works.
