This number along with "BOXCONN" appears on a credit card statement with a charge of 8.95.  I called the credit card company and they said it was from hubell racyway (If I heard the spelling right).  I have no idea what it is about.  I called the number and was asked to leave a message or send a fax but there was no id given.

Also had a charge on credit card for 8.95 and rec'd the same info from my credit card company.

I had the same thing happen to me on May 22, what did you guys do?  Called the number and was told to leave a message or fax..strange!

Got a charge on my CC today from BOXCONN (29-May-08) for $8.95. I notified my credit card company that I don't recognize the charge and gave me this number. I called the number and got the same recording. Does anyone have any idea who this charge is from?

Got a charge on my credit card 5/30/08 from BOXCONN same details as those listed here ($8.95 charge same phone number).  Called, couldn't get a live person.  Called my bank and reported - cancelled my card and filed a fraud alert.  The telling thing for mine was I had not used my card for a full week prior to the charge showing up as I was on the road on business and use my corporate credit card exclusively when traveling.

I called my bank. They will be sending me out a new card as well as disputing the charge with this potentially fraudulent company.

Did any of you guys try to buy a digital camera recently from Buy.com or some other online retailer?

Bought something from Radioshack online recently. I will be disputing the charge with my bank!

I also have an unauthorized charge on my bank statement for $8.95 for BOXCONN dated May 18, 2008. My bank had no more information than already provided on the statement. I closed my debit card and am disputing the charge as fraudulent.

I received the $8.95 charge on my credit card statement with a transaction date of 5/29/08. BOXCONN. Part of their name describes them, CON. I called twice and left a message trying to find out what kind of shady organization they are. They don’t return calls because they are afraid. They need to be hunted down and extinguished. I would still like to find out how they obtained my account information. My bank took off the charge. If it was a bonafide company they wouldn’t be hiding.

I have a pending charge on my company Debit card right now..... This is the same as above $8.95 BoxConn ...???????????

I put $500 - $1000 every day and have no clue what this is but is a company card not used for B.S. online stuff...  

This is probably  hacker or some one who bought CC#'s .........Every one who gets this needs to report ASAP..!!!!!

I received the same $8.95 charge from BOXCONN on my debit card. The bank said the only thing you can do is cancel the card and dispute the charge, which I will do today.

i too was charged. also i was scammed on "antivirus 2008" 109.85. i thought the 8.95 had something to do with that scam. i cancled all my cards, and filing charges against them.

got charged on my bank debit card for 8.95 BOXCONN as well.  I have disputed the charge and gotten provisional credit. This charge was on June 10,2008.  Everyone watch out... not sure where they got our # but you need to get new cards immediately...

We have a charge from Boxconn for $8.95 on our credit card for June 1, 2008.  This is a Sunday and no business would have been transacted on that date.  I am contacting our card service to cancel the card and report the fraud.

Same thing happend to my business card on 5-29-2008. Same amount $8.95 and same phone # and same message on the phone.

My bank took off the charge and changed my card. My bank said also that it was difficult to stop this kind of scam. The best thing is to be vigilant and nip it in the bud. Or the scammer will begin to charge more hefty amounts off your card, once this small amount went through unnoticed.

Yes, these scammers need to be hunted down and hung.

I received a $8.95 charge dated 6/17/08 from BOXCONN on my debit card. I see that I am not the only one getting hit. I am going to the bank this a.m. to cancel my Visa card.

Same charge amount, company name and phone number.  Posted posted to my debt card account 6-29-08, have not used that card for atleast 5 days.  Bank says that Visa is responsible for tracking and dealing w/ whoever is doing this.  They supposibly will automatically investigate upon recieving the charge dispute form.
