This number is associated with a fraudulent credit card use.

four days after i returned from iraq, a visa bill arrived with an $8.95 charge from "RASNA 866-850-8470 CA".  i had used my visa at the Post Exchange in iraq about three weeks prior to the date of the rasna charge

Got call while I was driving, couldn't look at id picked up. Sounded like telemarketer so I hung up.... bull for $8.95 just posted on my visa....

I just got a charge from them, too - Rasna, and the bank gave me the same number - I don't even recall getting called from that number though.  Strange...

I just saw this on my bank statement today. I called the number to see who it was but they won't answer. I get a machine. Call your bank and get a new Visa card asap and close the old one before they do it again....

This showed up on my debit card. $8.95 SCAM

We too have received calls from 1-866-850-8470.  Seeing the number on our Caller ID display we figured it was a telemarketer and did not pick up.  On our next MasterCard statement was a charge from "RASNA 8668508470 CA" for $8.96.  I did a Google search and found this site with all the similar testimonies.  I immediately called the MasterCard company and reported the fraud.  New card is coming.

I received a charge $8.96 on my corporate credit MasterCard from RASNA on 5/29/08 and am disputing the charge with MasterCard.  I don't think I ever called the 866-850-8470 number but that is the number listed on my bank charge statement for the RASNA charge.  Maybe they are now starting to also just add charges to your credit cards.  This is how it appears on my bank statement:

A Charge of 8.95 also showed up on my debit card, and I also had to cancel it. That same Phone number, 1-866-850-8470, Along with Rasna, also showed up on my bill.

Same thing here, don't recall phone calls it just showed on July 9th. Cancelled card.

8.95 charge on my debit card, Rasna, 866-850-8470

I pulled my bank statement on Wednesday and found a charge for 8.95 that I didn't know what it was for - I was going to call the number but didn't get around to it.  When I went to the ATM machine on Thursday I couldn't get money it said insuffient usage.  It was a visa card and the bank shut my account down.  I called and got it re-opened but I still have to call the number and get back to the bank.  I checked tonight and no more charges - but this scary.

FORTUNATELY MY BANK REFUSED TO LET A SECOND 8.95 CHARGE GO THROUGH FOR THESE PEOPLE AND HAD FROZEN MY VISA CARD.  I DID CATCH THIS IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE I DO RECONCILE MY BANKING DAILY THROUGH MY BANK'S ONLINE SERVICES.

I reviewed my point of sales purchases and discovered this RASNA 866-850-8470 charge for $8.95.  I have no idea what it is for. I called the number and there is a bogus message about sending a fax message.  This is obviously a scam.
