Caller did not leave message.

Have received several calls from this number in recent days, sometimes only minutes apart. I checked it out, and it tracks to a company (Go Secure) that sells computer, website, and ID protection packages. Legitimate or not, they shouldn't be calling...we're on the DNC list--and now they're blocked!

For me, this was a legitimate call. I subscribe to an online service and sometimes I need to request a code to access my account. I always request this to be sent to the phone number on my account and then my phone rings (from this number) almost immediately with my code.

Out of curiosity, I searched the web for 866-859-1526 and found that this call-back functionality is provided by a third-party company, SecureAuth, to customers such as the U.S. Dept. of Energy, General Mills, and TicketMaster (https://www.secureauth.com/Company/About.aspx). The number is their support number and is posted on their support portal web page (https://support.secureauth.com/hc/en-us).

Called left no message. I did NOT answer the call. Caller ID identified the call as "TOLL FREE CALL."

Beats me  answered  but was a none answer on the other end.. ???????????????

This is yet another number being used by those saying they are with "Citi" --- a scam marketer pretending to be with Citi Bank and trying to get you to reveal your account information.   Only when they use this particular number to call they don't have anything but the # show up in caller id.    NEVER give personal information to ANY caller!!    And block this number!!

HAHA, I felt stupid now that I looked it up.  LEGIT CALL.  I was logging into an account online and it has 2 step authentication.  I ignored the called and looked it up, then realized on the site I had selected my cell number but the "voice" option was marked, instead of the SMS/TXT option.  This was the call to give me my login code.

i wondered what this was too until i read some of the comments above - our company uses SecureAuth and it is from this number that the 2nd step authentication code is given (voice) - legit to me

This was a legit number for me.  My organization uses a 2 step verification process for remote logins and the code for it comes over the phone from this number.

This is a legit call for me, you contact them and they call you right back or text you a code.

It’s a legit number for safe access to email.

This is what I use the number for too, I don't know why people think it's a scam

Perhaps because scammers are spoofing the number.
By the way, why did you look up the number if you already know to whom it belongs?
