On 1/10/2019, I received a vouce msil message to return a call to Community Bank

I have received several calls claiming to be about my account from Community bank and my past due credit card payments. I do not have, and have never had an account with them. Do not even know where they are.

Called multiple times from various numbers saying to call them about my account with Community Bank - that I don't have.

Called left a message about a personal matter with Community Bank. When called back says unable to say what this is about but wanted me to authenticate my name and last four digits of my Social security number. I told them will not do that and wanted to know who was trying to reach. Would not tell that either, this is a scam i believe.

Called regarding "past due" payments for my account with Community Bank ( I do not have an account with these people) when I called back they tried to get me to give them personal info they should already have if I have an account with them. I hung up.

Only partial msg with phone number for return call. No other information. On a Sunday afternoon no leas

Called from a different number saying to call this number regarding an urgent personal matter, no other details. SCAM

Same here. The caller ID# was 913-312-9492 with the message asking me to call back at the 866 number. Am blocking.

It Comenity Bank

It actually is legitimate and it is Comenity Bank, who issues a lot of the major store credit cards, such as Wayfair, Roaman's, Woman Within and KingSize. I did give Wayfair feedback that the type of call needs to be changed, as their calls behave exactly like many scammers do.

Get partial robo call voice mail with call back number only. Nothing else

I think this is a scam call. I have an account in good standing and another phone number for my account. It is very easy to spoof the IVR message and it only asks for SS # - when you call the actual phone number it gives you an option to put in your acccount number or your ss. I also got a text saying it was urgent. However there was no urgent matter going on with my account. In my opinion this a phishing scheme that is set up to get Social Security #'s from anyone who may have a Comenity Bank account. I say - call the # on your card and confirm your account and let them know someone is using their name to get access to your personal data.

Returned call man claimed they are comenity bank and wented information from me. Would not supply it and informed him that they should already have if they are who they claimed. Could not give me name of who they wented. Terminated call

I have been blocking every time they called. Now there texting me saying I’m in big trouble call this number back I block it all the time I’m on the tenth number today to block them. I don’t see how they get all those numbers. Tell them you will have your lawyer to call them they’ll hang up real quick. But then they’ll call or text later on.

They don't "get all those numbers" they simply spoof them.
