866-860-9061

I've received several calls from telemarketers with the 866 prefix.  This call came in early on a Saturday morning.  I did not pick up.  There was no message left, but I'm fairly certain it was some telemarketer.  Dunno why, but I'm getting more and more of these calls, and I am on the "no call list".

It is the CheckRite debt collector phone number .  I would call them back if I were you !! could be important

I receive a call from this company everyday, asking for someone I do not know. It's always a man or woman, the  same man or woman. They get really pissed off when I tell them that they have the wrong number. They still call everyday, I've threaten to sue them for harassment, then the next day, someone else calls. This has been going on for about 4 months, everyday, sometimes Sundays.

several calls over two or three weeks. no one can find a debt when I call back and the calls keep coming. I will file a complaint with the FTC

The telephone is answered as "Global Payments Recovery Service"
It is a check recovery company used by businesses to collected unpaid or returned checks.
The number is 866-860-9061.  When they do leave a message, it starts before the voicemail
is ready to record, therefore you do not hear who  is leaving the message. All you get is the number and
business hours, or at least that's the message that was left on my phone.  If you are being called and it is not a legitimate call, block the number. I did.

I receive calls from this number numerous times a day.  If I don't answer, it leaves a recorded message saying I need to call them back but doesn't give the name of the company.  The other day I decided to answer and a woman asked for someone in accounts payable.  I told her she had contacted a residential number and she got all snippy and hung up the phone.  Today I answered again and they again asked for accounts payable.  I asked who was calling and she said "never mind maam" and hung up.

I've left a complaint on the do not call complaint website but continue to receive these calls.  I don't owe any bill collectors...it has to be a total scam!!

HEY I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A 8666266632 I HAVE HAD A SCAMMER CALLING FROM 2 DIFFERENT NUMBERS. 1 IS 631-647-0562 2. 610-228-0053 PLAYING LIKE THEY ARE BILL COLLECTORS. I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED THESE NUMBERS DO YOU THINK THE 866 NUMBER IS A SCAM.  I AM PRETTY SURE IT IS THEY SAID IT WAS A COLLECTION I DON'T OWE

left no message but it's Global Payments. I srewed up my ck acct. They billed me a 20 dollar service fee by mail. Mailed it but in the meantime they took it out of my acct electonically. What a headache! When I called she told me to hold off paying it in case the bank already did so. But I already mailed it in. The letter said I had 30 days to dispute it.
Advice....Don't send them the service fee 3 weeks after you receive the letter in case they have already charged your account.
