Caller claimed they were from PC Financial and needed to confirm my birthdate and Social Insurance Number to discuss some recent transactions on my Money Account.  I said I wouldn't give him that information but will call them back at their regular customer service number and asked for a reference number.  The caller hung up on me. Like others have said, this is NOT PC Financial.  This is a scam.  Do not share anything with these people!

I've been getting endless calls from this number for days.  When I finally decided to pick up the caller said they were from PC Financial and needed to confirm my date of birth to confirm my identity so that he could talk to me about some suspicious transactions in my account.  The thing is I don't have anything with PC Financial.  When I told him this I quickly hung up.

"Nancy" from "PC Financial" asked for my birthdate and SIN because she needed to confirm my identity before discussing alleged fraudulent charges on my PC MasterCard.  She was pretty aggressive when I said I wasn't comfortable giving her this information.  I called PC Financial directly and learned that there are no issues with my account and the call was a scam.

A lady named Shelly called saying she was PC Financial and that there were some suspicious transactions on my PC credit card. She said that to review and refund my money, she needed my date of birth, mailing address, and bank card number to confirm my identity.  There was a lot of background noise and I said that I didn't believe her.  She said "This is not a scam. We are calling to protect your money".  I said I'd call PC Financial directly and she promptly hung up.  Just like others here, I confirmed that there were no issues with my card or accounts.

Same as everyone else.  "Brenda from PC Financial" called and asked to confirm my personal information so that they could verify some transactions on my Mastercard.  It felt like a scam right away so I just hung up and called PC Financial  who confirmed there were no suspicious activity on my card.

This number called me, asked for my name. I hung up, called back , I heard 'pc financial blah blah' automated voice. They (a person) asked for my phone # to locate my acct. 🚩🚩🚩
Called my bank, asked them if they'd called me, gave their phone number. They said they hadn't, its not them.
They had what sounded an old white lady, some younger white guy and an Indian man working the phones. (I called back multiple times to see)

A man claiming to be calling from PC Financial asked for my phone number, address, and SIN to verify if some transactions allegedly made on my account were fraudulent. I told him to f**k off because I knew this was a scam.

Really glad to see so many posts saying this is a scam.  The call I got was very upsetting because the caller was very pushy about wanting my information to protect my account from fraud.  It didn't feel right at all so I just hung up.  I can't imagine how many vulnerable people they take advantage of.

Nancy called me and said she was from PC Financial.  She said my PC Mastercard was frozen due to suspicious activity and in order to unfreeze it, she needed to confirm my identity and then asked for my SIN, date of birth, and some other personal information.  I told her I wasn’t comfortable in sharing this information but I would call PC Financial directly.  She said OK and wished me a good day.  I called PC Financial and surprise!  there was nothing wrong with my account.

Do you realize that you are replying to Tygerkat's 3½ year old post to tell them that you called this scam number back and the scammers told you they were "PC Financial Mastercard"?
Really, what do you expect the scammers to tell you?  Would you expect them to admit it is a scam?
A normal, thinking person would call the number on the back of their card or get the number for customer service from the official PC website and call to someone that they would know is legitimate; not callback a number the called them out of the blue.
Your post reads like a shill that is trying to get back a someone (Tygerkat) who called out a fellow shill for what they were and got their shill post removed.

    Still really angry?
The post by Tygerkat does not display anger.  It reads more of expressing the incredulity and skepticism Tygerkat felt after reading that shill's post.  I would suspect that Tygerkat would feel the same after reading your post, then classify it as a shill post and report it for removal.  (Much the same reaction I had to your post.)

Someone who identified themselves as Brenda  and said she was from PC Financial.  She said my Mastercard was comprised and I needed to verify my personal information before she could proceed.  I asked how that was possible since I'm not a PC customer and she hung up.

866-862-2304 calls my phone 2-5 times a day. I have them blocked, but they keep leaving blank voicemails filling up my inbox. Its almost a full time job having to delete these voicemails.
Wish it would also block them from being able to leave a voicemail.
Clearly a scam and waisting people's time.
