Received call on 12-31-08 @ 11:43 am PST.  Unable to answer call and no voice mail message was left.

I've been getting this as well.  Quite disruptive while I'm working.

Received call on my cell at 18:57 UTC on my cell phone.  When I answered, call was disconnected.

Called, and dead air when answered. Looks like "they" found a new number to use as an identification. I'm on the national do not call list, but it seems ineffective against this type of harassment.

I get 2 -3 calls a day M-F. Always dead air. Been going on for weeks.

I get at least a few calls a day from this number on my cellphone. Never answer and anytime I call them either too busy or they disconnect me. Very very annoying. We should be able to sue these idiots.

It is related to a magazine you are more than likely already subscribed to. Wait a few moments on pickup, as the operator's systems delay in passing the call to them. When you get someone on the line, just cancel your subscription.

You know all those free magazines you get at your office, that you have no idea where they came from? Well, when you sign up (or get signed up for) those magazines you agree to accept their phone calls. The magazines are published by survey companies, they survey you, give you a magazine, and sell the survey results to fund the publication.

If you ANSWER THE CALL, and are patient...they will only call once each quarter.

I get several calls a day (every day since the beginning of Jan) from this number.  At first I didn't answer, and no message was ever left.  Then both my husband and I started answering the phone, but nobody ever says anything.  We wait on the line sometimes to see if we will be connected to someone so that we can get on their "Do Not Call" list, but EVERY time, we are hung up on.  It seems like they wait until they hear us talking to them, then they hang up.  It is SO annoying and disruptive!

Grrr!  They've called me 4 times in an hour and a half!  Every time they hang up on me after they've heard me say hello.  Still, I wait to see if I could possibly be connected to someone still, but no.  Just a rude hang up!  This has been going on for many days now!  Many many calls per day.  I wish they would STOP!

Called this # back and got a fax/data tones

I got 2 calls from this number on 1/7/09 at 2:28PM and 3:24PM EST at my work number. anybody know from who we are getting this junk/dummy calls?

I have received 17 calls in 2 days from this number, and an unavailable number and a 786 number ever since 2 days ago I let some girl use my phone.  Before that I rarely had any calls.  This is wrong, will I have to change my number now?  There it goes again, it will make me ignore calls I need to receive and turn my phone off when I never would.

I have receive a total of 29 calls in the last 3 days and still counting. 6 of these calls came from 866-862-9641, 3 came from 786-364-3869 and 20 calls came from an unknown phone number. They all had the same thing in common: dead air and hanging after 4 sec. ( when I answered the unknown phone number ). What ''these people''are really up to, beside wasting time and money from ''real people with a real job''.

I've been getting call from this regularly too.  Never anyone on the other end and never leaves a Voicemail.

I've received numerous calls to my cell phone (which has been registered with the do not call reistry for years) from this number. The phone usually rings once or twice then disconnects. Then the missed call reminder beeps and is a hassle until I view the missed call log on my phone. No message is left.

I've since added a contact "zcrap" with a silent ringtone and have begun storing these spam-type numbers.

I finally just reached someone.. I have business publication magazine. I told them not interested and stop calling. Let hope!

This time I oicked up the phone and did NOT say anything.. "Just listened" and finally someone said hello. and went from there.. all the other time I eaither said hello very soon after I picked up or let it go to voicemail.

FIngers crossed that these calls stop!

Rings once or twice and no answer when you pick up. This is the 2nd call I've received in 2 weeks.

For the past 8 weeks approximately twice a week I get a call on my cell phone from 866-862-9641. No one answers or leaves a message. it is getting old. I called the number back and I get a modem or fax machine tone.

Received call on my work phone at 13:06 on 1/28/2009.  When I answered, call was disconnected.  When I call this number, it's busy.
