My mom got a call last night, claiming to be from ABC Warehouse's extended warranty department. When you call it back, it sounds semi-legitimate, but says the hours of the department start at 5:30pm, which seems bizarre. I've read other complaints on this website about ABC Warehouse phone calls, but under different phone numbers. They call about extending a warranty on a product you never even had to begin with! Anyone else get similar calls?

I checked with ABC Warehouse 1-800-981-3866 after receiving a call like yours and it IS from them, their "extended warranty dept" based in Toledo OH. Too early to call right now so I'll guess I
ll try later on tonight.

Same type of deal - got an important sounding message from these folks, "regarding the GE Appliance I purchased through US Appliance."  With hours starting at 6pm est.

I have not called this number back.  The first thing that clued me in to this NOT being Us Appliance was the hours of operation, 6pm-9pm Monday thru Thursday??  The next was that she did not mention who she was calling from, merely that she was calling about an appliance I purchased THROUGH US Appliance.

Sounds like a scam to me.

Message:  "Hi.  This is Michelle.  I'm calling from ABC Warehouse concerning your Toshiba projection TV.  Please call me at 1-866-865-1400 extension 7624.  My hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM."

Sorry, Michelle -- I neither own a Toshiba TV nor have I bought anything from ABC warehouse since -- ever.

abc warehouse and us apply. both farm out their extended warrenty work to a company called advanced customer services. the main office is in michigan.  Its not a scam just a little overpriced.  I used to work at the toledo office.

I just got a call today from this number it was a woman from ABC Warehouse corporate office, and I did get my 51' from them... so is it most likely for a warenty upgrade? I'm assuming so  but just want to get a little research in before I call back.

I got the same message from a woman the past two days.  Last night she called at 8:57pm and left a message to call before 9pm and just now, saying to call before 9pm.  I do have two appliances from them, purchased over 5 years ago, so I figured it had to do with extended warranties.  Thank you for confirming my suspicions.  I thought it was weird too, that her hours are only in the evenings and she called just before 9pm.  I will not be calling her back!

Got a call saying they have to speak to me about something i bought (which I did) and then said they want to sell me an extended warranty. Very annoying. SHouldnt' have called back. They have weird hours. Like until 9 pm; not fridays; Saturdays from 10 am to 7:30 am.
They asked my name when I called and there was a huge wait until he scribbled it down and who knows what else. I probably shouldn't have said my name at all.

I just got a call from the Wyandotte Micigan extended warranty department for a purchase we made at ABC warehouse. When the lady couldn't get me to agree to purchase a year more, she hung up on me. I will never buy an extended warranty from ABC again!

I got an "urgent" message from someone from ABC Warehouse a couple of months ago saying I needed to call them about my washer and dryer.  (I assumed maybe it was an urgent recall).  Nope! She wanted me to re-new my extended warranty....one I didn't buy on the appliances.  I told I didn't buy it, but she insisted her records said I did.  I said no, and that I didn't want to buy anything else, and she got off the phone.  Just two nights ago, I got a call from ABC again about my refrigirator, with the same pitch. I said I didn't by the extended warranty, and she kept saying:
"Are you suuurreee you don't want to buy the extended warranty?"  
 "Yes, I'm sure I don't want it."
"Are you positive you don't want it?"  
  "Yes, I don't want it."  
"Are you suuuuurrrrreee you really don't want it?"  
 "I'm 100% sure I don't want it."
"Okay, good night!"

Really?  

ABC gave me the worst service I ever received in life. So ba
d makes my head hurt.

There's a ABC warehouse service warranty department its legitimate I work for them not under that number though

Also the hours are 5pm-9pm
