Called the company i work for twice in a row. First time asked for the owner of the storage we run, told him i would check, said he isn't available and hung up. called back a little bit later, said his name was Tony and he was with the white pages looking for the officer manager. I placed him on hold, told my manager, got back on the line and he hung up again

Called my work asking for me, the office manager.  We thought it was strange so when my coworker transferred the call I did not identify myself, I simply asked who was calling and the guy hung up.

They called 3 time , first call they said there were the white pages. Second call they asked for the warehouse manager. 3rd call they said they were updating the printer ribbon shipping program with free cartridges but needed to know the serial number. They want you to say "YES" ,once the word "YES" is recorded they will send you several cases of light bulbs for the warehouse or several cases of print cartridges. They manipulate the word "YES" on the recorded phone call and use that as evidence of your approval  for sending EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE INK AND BULBS AT 10 TIMES THE COST YOU NORMALLY PAY. IF YOU DO NOT PAY THEY WILL REPORT YOUR COMPANY TO DUN AND BRADSTREET AND RUIN YOUR COMPANY CREDIT. No one will do business with a company having poor credit.

I picked up saying our company name, the guy said he was looking to speak with the HR manager and I told him that I could help him. He wanted to verify our information for the "white pages" and when he asked for my name I refused to give my name he said "OH SO YOUR NOT AUTHORIZED TO DO ANYTHING" and hung up on me.

Called asking for office manager to 'verify' info for the coming local Business White Pages-- and we verified info-- but then guy said we would get ONE book and the invoice would be on there. Also, the 2 year listing would be around $500. I told him that I would need to verify with the owner if he wants to continue any sort of advertising. They said the would email the invoice, I gave them our email- we will see if they do.
