Can anyone tell me who they are?

I got a call from this number saying bank of america wants to speak with me regarding a credit card application.. I believe this is a fraud.. I am not sure.. does anyone know who they are?

I got a call from this number saying bank of america wants to speak with me regarding a credit card application. I called Bank of America and was informed that they never have anyone contact me in this manner. So this is a real FRAUD! Watchout!!!

I received calls from these numbers continuosly  and looks like an automated voice saying they want to talk to me about Bank of America Credit card application. Bo A however says it had n't called me so surely it is a fraud. BEWARE !!

I called the # they left in the Voice message and it turned out to be some school in New Jersey.

i called the number back. the rep. said they were with bank of america. i did apply for a credit card a few days prior. she did ask for my name and social security number but i asked if not to give it to her. she then asked the spelling of my name and zip code. she was able to pull up my application. so this is legit. but always check with the credit card company first or ALWAYS try to go around not giving your ssn if you can help it if you not sure of the company. :)

I applied for a BofA CreditCard and received a message to call this number 1 day later. This number is for Card Services and the person who I reached was a credit analyst. They verified my application based on my name and zip code. My SS# was not asked for. The credit analyst I talked to was very professional and had access to my credit report in order to ask legitimate questions regarding my current financial status.

This number is for a legitimate financial enterprise.

After receiving a call from this number today, a day after applying on-line for a specific Mastercard, I called my Bank of America (BOA) Premier Banking Advisor who checked the number for me and confirmed that it is legitimate.  It is the BOA credit untit in Wilmington Del, at 1100 N. King Street, if anyone wants to double-check it out through the address.  I also check the address on-line at the "superpages" site, by searching Bank of America at that address above.

got a message from 302-458-4399 the day after applying for a Bank of America card online.  in the message, they asked me to call 866-865-7840.  it was a Bank of America customer service number, rang straight through to a person.  they pulled up my app off just my name and read back some of the information i had entered.  seems legit to me.

It's a definite FRAUD. I just spoke with thr fraud dep't at BoA and they do not do anything like that.  I knew it sounded fishy.

I got a call and they left me a message with this number. I called back, a lady asked me for my SSN and name, but I only give her my name and zipcode, she was able to pull up some of my info. After the call, I contacted BOA about the number. They confirm that the call did make from them. The number is OK.
