- Caller: tbi com
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Fred| 1 replyThey call saying they are calling on behalf of Qwest (or the name of your current telephone co) and they want to save you money on your bill. That is a lie. They are another phone company trying to get you to switch to them and they are telemarketers. We don't support any calls that come in over the phone from telemarketers. If everyone would follow this policy there would be no telemarketers.
- Caller: an unknown phone company

- acTHESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF !!! THEY CALL MY OFFICE AT LEAST 4 TIMES PER DAY AND JUST HANG UP ... DON'T EVEN GIVE ME THE CHANCE TO TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING ! I'VE FILED A REPORT AGAINST THEM BUT IT DOES NO GOOD. I'VE CONTACTED TELECOM BROKERAGE, YET I'M STILL GETTING CALLS. THESE PEOPLE ARE WASTING MY TIME HERE AT WORK AND BOSS IS REALLY GETTING TICKED ! SOMEONE JUST SHOOT THEM !
- Caller: Telecom Brokerage inc.

- Jack replies to FredYour entire post is offensive to telephone reps. Not all people that call businesses to offer goods or services (telemarketers definition) are evil. They are mostly good people who work off a salary not strictly commissions that are dedicated to helping businesses and mostly business owners save money. Your entire post is a misstatement. I wish you would do some research and not blindly print infomation.
- sandytell them to stop calling us
- aordwaya replies to Joe| 2 replies"1st" of all 99% of the population will CALL THE BUSINESS if they want or need something. There is no reason any of us being bothered by unwanted phone calls need to feel appreciative for these PESTS! "2nd" only someone who works for this company would know the information you do. I'm sure anyone else who googles this number is irritated with them and NOT looking to run around the Internet defending a company for any other reason then that. And theres a difference between calling Life Quotes and having a company call YOU trying to sell you something most people don't want or need. And LASTLY if a telemarketing company keeps calling even after being asked ten times to stop calling we can be as hostile as we want. The public is SICK of these phone calls. We don't want your crap. And when we say no, it.... MEANS..... NO! Find another means of employment its shrinking your brain. I'm so tired of putting my PAYING clients on hold to answer a call from someone who either wants to sell me "stock options" or hangs up after I say hello twice.
- JodubsGot a call today at my retail store, they asked if we were corporate, I said yes. Then he said he loved the symbol we put on all our clothes, and I said, do you? He then said, no you suck, and hung up. Real professional!!!

- Melissa replies to Joe| 1 replyjust took a call from this company, and agree with another individual - that you must be from the company. here's some of my thoughts after taking the call from 866-874-6699 today.
1) caller said he wanted to speak to the person who handled the "Integra" account. My first thought, 'well, this is someone from Integra who needs to speak to us about our service and/or account balance. I responded, 'what is your name and phone number'? He said Scott, and then asked if he could speak to the person, again. Hmnn. I asked what this was regarding, He then stated he was calling from Qwest, wanting to talk about my Integra account. First mistake..initially misleading the caller. Instant distrust.
2) 2nd mistake, his condescending tone, as if I didn't understand him the first time.
Usually, as a 'phone answerer' on the other end of a telemarketing call, I've heard quite a bit of calls. And, so have the rest of us. If the telemarketer is really wanting to sell something, he/she really needs to develop some trust to keep conversation going, AND they need to expect a little reserve and distrust at first, unfortunately. If the telemarketer also gets rudeness, then they need to know they're the one calling and requesting. I would think they'd have the wherewithall, and smarts to know that if they're the least bit rude, or can't take rudeness, they're not going to establish any kind of rapport.
This fellow made the mistake of being condescending. I'm not interested in giving my business to someone who is condescending and/or uses trickery to get me to continue listening. I can imagine it's hard work, but he made it harder for himself by not using honesty and courtesy. - jackhoff replies to Robertlearn how to type a sentence.

- anonymousOKAY ... THESE PEOPLE ARE F'N PISSING OFF ME AND MY BOSS !!!! 4 - 6 CALLS A DAY .. THEY JUST HANG UP ON YOU, YOU CALL IT BACK, "WE'RE SORRY, THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE" .. WTF??? YOU JUST CALLED ME FROM THAT NUMBER !
AT LEAST HAVE THE BALLS TO NOT HANG UP ON PEOPLE AND GIVE US A CHANCE TO BE ASKED TO BE REMOVED. AND EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T HANG UP AND WE TELL YOU TO REMOVE US ....... YOU DON'T !!!! WE DO NOT HAVE A QWEST ACCOUNT, NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL !!!!- Caller: UNKNOWN

- yaright replies to Horton| 1 replyI actually have a real job at a call center. I love doing sales, and I had a contract with TBI when I installed T1's... so they are legit, and they are on the up and up. Sorry you hate verizon, but TBI is a master agent who brokers deals for customers nation wide.
Maybe if you took the time to listen for 2 minutes, you could have saved your company some money.
Its people who hate their jobs that make mine harder, because really the hardest part of my job is getting people to realize I am just trying to help them. If I cant save you money I wont waste your time!
Also, we use a DO NOT CALL LIST, but there are shady vendors out there who sell their leads to multiple companies. This is the nature of the beast, and we cannot help it.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to write trash about a company you do not understand, when you could have used that same time to save your company $$$ - lamet replies to yarightyou love HARRASSING people who DO NOT WANT YOU CALLING in the first PLACE?
TELEMARKETING IS A THING OF THE PAST - you telelmarketers are the only one that thinks RIPPING people off over the phone is a valid job.
no one wants YOUR CALLS, YOUR CRAP OR YOUR ATTITUDE PROBLEMS.
FIGURE IT OUT AND STOP CALLING.
And Although DONOTCALL registry is for Personal phones and not business phones - WE STILL DO NOT WANT YOUR CALLS AT OUR PLACES OF BUSINESS!
And YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REMOVE NUMBERS from your dialing system when TOLD TO STOP CALLING!
As for the dropped calls - STOP programming your DIALERS to call more numbers than you have STAFF AVAILABLE TO TALK TO PEOPLE. - steve smithwrong number I guess, they call every week and no one answers.

You must work for this company...some jerk from there called my 18 yr old employee yesterday, multiple times, for no other reason than to harass her. Any upstanding company would not tolerate this type of behavior from it's employees. This company and all those like it, that call my place of business multiple times a day, week and month, get no credibility in the business world. Ridiculous! - LAMET16 Ways You Can be Phone Scammed
18 Nov 2008
When we started 800Notes.com we had no idea that telemarketing fraud comes in so many flavors. The variations include 'cramming', 'slamming', credit card scams, calls from telemarketers pretending to be IRS, sweepstakes and lotteries scams, advance fee loan scams, phone toner scams, fat finger dialing scams, and area code phone scams.
Typically the goal is to get you to reveal personal, bank account information, or to make you do something that will result in unwanted charges on your account. Individuals and businesses are equally affected by these scams although the schemes might be different.
In this article I will outline the 16 most popular phone scams. I am sure there are more, so if you have been a victim of a phone scam, or you know of a phone scam not mentioned here, please share it with me and the readers in the comments.
Send this article to your family members, co-workers, and employees. Give it to your teenage kids and elderly parents (studies show they are the most vulnerable to the scams). As the old saying goes, "Forewarned is Forearmed".

12. "Slamming": Slamming occurs when customers have their telephone service switched to a new carrier without their permission. You may receive a call from a telemarketer asking you to switch your long distance provider. Although you say you are not interested in switching, your long distance provider is changed anyway. - MikeCaller misrepresented himself as the vendor of our telephone/Internet services (Cbeyond). He then said he was working for Qwest and could save us money. When I said I wasn't interested, he continued to talk. That's when I hung up on him.
- Caller: Pretended to be Cbeyond

- lbthese idiots call then hang up. i called my phone provider to block thier number.
- WashingtonStateI have been receiving coercive rude and coercive calls from this number despite saying "I need you to put me on your do not call list" the person refused to do it and said who is "you" "who is this?". So it is a lie that they maintain one. Then he began to interrogate me about being a business despite the fact that we are a non profit agency and continued to refuse to put us on the do not call list. I demanded it again and hung up and he called back 3 times. I get coercive calls like this several times a month. I can't see how this person is legitimately trying to sell anything. They must be prank calls.
