They called my cell phone and they said that I owed $1600 to a credit card company. They asked me to make a payment in full. I explained to them I could make arrangements. They continued to transfer me to different people- even in mid sentence. They'd ask the same questions. "Are you... at ...address"? They then transferred me to leave a voice message with my information. I hung up.

They called me first this morning and didn't leave a message then called again later when i picked up they as me if I was terrance howard and I said no. The women said that I owe them a large sum of money and that I indeed need to pay the money now. I said I don't know what you don't understand but I am not who you assume I am. Please don't call and assume I am this person. I continued to tell her my name and who I was but she didn't care to listen and hung up on me. I guess it was because of my no stop statements of I am not terrance howard.

Voice mail picked up this call.  The message I received was a woman laughing.  IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called United Recovery back [(713) 977-1234] after my brand new cell kept getting calls from here asking for someone I don't know. They apparently put me on the "do not call list". We'll see if it works.

Called and asked if I was Gayle. I stated why are you calling me, she told me to calm down and inform her who I was. Then she stated I am Jessica calling from URS. I said IRS? She yelled and said no, URS and I explained I did not know who this company is, then she said United Recovery Company.

As far as I am aware, I have satisfied all of my outstanding debt to these people so calls should have stopped but haven't.

keeps getting this 866 number showing up on my cell in the morning and afternoon. i didnt answer. glad i found this site.

I have to warn you... they offered that to me over a year ago but a 'different' person kept calling then (or at least they claimed to be a different representative that didn't know the number was incorrect and put on their "list" of wrong numbers.) So I hit up the FCC and boy that stopped the calls dead! (Until today when they tried twice within 2 minutes.)

The idiots continue to call after I explained, my husband who actually owes the bill, is in a hospice. I paid the bill as long as I could afford it.  With my income litterly cut in half because of my husbands illiness, I can no longer afford to pay and legally, I am not obligated to.  I sent verification from the hospice that my husband was there, they continue to call asking questions that why would another bill be paid in full and not them, I explained that all of my husbands bill were current before he went into the hospital.  I find these people as very ignorant and will go to any lengths for their $8.00 per hr job,  I will be have these calls stopped by any means necessary.

Same old same old... Thank goodness this website and one other app on my smart phone has helped me identify and block 20 United Recovery Service phone numbers (20) of them in 9 months. I have never had to speak to anyone, I love technology. They have moved on to harassing people related to me... It's now a matter of principle and they can never be paid or it would reward their behavior.

this company keeps calling, sounds like a scam from all the posts written, i blocked these calls with an app called  "mr number":,
when this  # calls, the app just picks up and hangs  up immediatly.
