The letter you received should have told you a few things among them who the current creditor is, who the original creditor was, how much is owed, that this is an attempt to collect upon a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose, and that you have 30 days to dispute the debt in writing.  You should do that immediately and send it US Mail, Certified Return Receipt. Keep a notarized copy of the letter you send to them.  Your letter should state that you either do not recognize the debt as yours or that it has already been satisfied depending upon the circumstances. Do not send proof of payment at this point. Your letter should also request that they send you a "Debt Validation Notice".  This is a more detailed accounting of the debt and should include additional details such as the date the debt first occurred, how the debt was incurred, date of last payment, proof that the current creditor has clear title to this debt, proof the collection agency is permitted to collect debts in your state, details as to how the current amount claimed was calculated and other details as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

You should review the information on debt collection for consumers on the FTC website:

    http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

You may also want to seek legal advice on how best to proceed.  You can often get a quick consultation for free or minimal charge.

Golden Girl55, and cindy taylor are correct about the name of the company, phone #, and address. And, Golden Girl55 is correct that they are debt collector scam artists. They are bogusly using the AT&T brand name to falsely claim that I owe over $500, when I'm cold-blooded certain there's no way that's possible. They remind me of another debt scam collector who pretended to be an actual representative of Bank of America with a matching first name and last name. Seems like, sooner or later, scam collectors get super desperate, and then they're deliriously happy to break the law. I'm not about to give them the time of day! Needless to say, Bank of America and the FTC we're not amused with the criminal behavior, and it's only a matter of time before Capital  Management  Services, LP gets their just desserts.
