I received a call from this number; they left a voicemail stating they were UnitedHealthCare and wanted to let me know about other ways to use their service for my health...
    Except....i don't have UnitedHealthCare anymore.

I have UHC and I always get calls from this number.  It's their auto-dialer calling to let you know of "a health benefit" available to me through my provider, it's not a scam but ignorable.

This number called me and said they are handling a progressive claim, and that I hit someone with my car. They are trying to receive some money, and if I don’t pay they threatened me to put a claim in the DMV to suspend my license. I didn’t hit anyone with my car, so this is very suspicious for me!

Rest assured this is not possible without a Court document showing you have made a violation under any DMV rules.  That would require a police report was made and you can check the police dept where they said the accident occurred  for the location/date/time, to see if a report was made on your car.

You can always call the Insurance company from an official number (not one the caller might give) that the caller claims to be from and verify if there is a claim against you or you can call your own Insurance Agent and ask them to find out, as they will know if any such claims was made legally against one of their insured motorists.

Most likely its an Insurance scam, since  Insurance companies don't go around making bold claims demanding payment without first going through the legal processes or providing proof to back the claim.

They called and said i was overpaid $1000 by my car insurance company for an accident 3 years ago. If it were legitimate i would've recieved letters from my agent waaaaay before that call. I blocked them. My agent has my number. Be careful he sounded really convincing.

Calls repeatedly claiming UHC, which is part of my insurance, but asks for names that are not me to call them back. Sometimes it's to tell about services, personal health coach or discuss benefits I might not be using. Just had one again that asked Mohammad to return the call with a pin # to use. Last week it was for Patrick. Obviously suspect as no one here by those names. Caller ID says unknown name.

This number called me about a claim on my car that says I hit someone and have not paid them so they will be taking me to court if I don't contact them. You can all be rest comfortably cause this is definitely a scam, why do I know this you may ask? I have never had a car my whole life. I have been confined to a wheel chair for over 30 years now. What a bunch of fools. Their going to have to find someone else to scam if they want money.

Claiming to be calling on behalf of American Family for a car accident I was never in.  Called American Family and there is no claim with that persons name nor my name.  It is a complete scam.  Do not pay them a dime.  They are SCAMMERS

I have gotten one call per day for the last 3 days from this number. My phone screens calls for me, and they say they are United HealthCare, trying to tell me about a health and wellness program, and then my phone marks it as spam and declines the call.

No matter how much money you paid for that phone it is simply not that smart.  Your phone company marked it as spam based on reports from people such as yourself who never, ever answer calls and then automatically report them as "spam/scam/telemarketer" without actually knowing what they are talking about.  It could very well be that company.  I know I just had two calls this week from my doctor's that were marked "spam risk" but they weren't.  You see the problem there by simply assuming?

No, I don't see the problem. It's a nuisance call.

You think it 100% okay to have completely legitimate calls marked as spam risk so that people don't answer them? Seriously?
