I don't answer/return toll free number calls when they don't leave messages.

calls in evening, 9 times recently, registers as a call on ansewring machine but no message - calling that number doesn't ring

I generally don't answer 800 number calls with no ID

every times  i have call from this number ; i don't know he call me; if i take my phone i don't answer ; please blok it .

same as above. but i can't block it.

Twice I received unsollicited call from 1-866-899-3901 in 2 days. An further more I can not block that phone number.

I received a call from that number to but I wasn't fast enought to answer the phone, it rings 2 minutes ago with the same number. Let see if we have something in common :

I receive calls on my cell phone, provider : Telus
I live in Québec, Canada, near Montréal.
My cell is in 514 area.

It's a sollicitation for "Le Devoir" journal. I suspect that they make Cole Calls for a lot of companies to...

Just got the call (they did try a number of times). I can confirm it's solicitation for Le Devoir Newspaper.

I called their number and someone actualy answered. They were surprisingly polite and helpful. They have automated dialler problems which causes many dropped calls.

I received 3 calls this morning from this number and a lot more since 1 week.  When I answered, no one speaking.

I called back and this is from "Synergie Contact".  An answered machine in french said option 1 for deleting my number from the list (Le Devoir) and option to for deleting my number on all lists.  When I select option 2, the line becomes busy (or they hanged up, I don't know).

J'ai reçu 3 appels ce matin de ce numéro et quand je répond, personne ne parle, il ne se passe rien.  J'en ai reçu quelques autres depuis 1 semaine.

J'ai fait un retour d'appel et un message vocal disait que j'avais rejoint "Synergie Contact pour le quotidien le Devoir".  Il y avait deux options, option 1 pour retirer mon numéro de la liste du Devoir et option 2 pour retirer mon numéro de toutes leurs listes.  J'ai fait l'option 2 et la ligne est devenue occupée (ou on m'a raccrochée la ligne au nez, je l'ignore).

Received a call from them tonight at 19h00.

They were from Le Devoir also.

Received a call yesterday from that number and its from vrigin mobile saying that it's not a sollicitation call and i nedd to call back, and they give me a file number.

I recently changed my cell compagny from virgin to telus.

Just received a call from this number and, since I am expecting a call from the Province of Ontario I answered it.  Just dead air for about 30 seconds then the beeping of a disconnected line.  No name in the call display, just the number.

Got a call from "866-899-3901" but I was asleep. They called again just now, I answered "hello?" Heard some background noise and vaguely made out a man saying my first and last name, I said "yes?" And they immediately hung up. Kinda makes me nervous.

I just tryed to recall the number and it's Virgin mobile but I don't know why they are calling me I don't have any phone and don't want one with them

They never leave a message but tonight I actually picked up & said hello & a male voice sighed & then hung up. I don't get it - they've called twice a day for the last 3 weeks. Get the message, won't answer 800 numbers unless you leave a msg

We just called this number nov 28 -2013 and the answer from it is virgin mobile

They had better stop calling or i Will scream next time they call! I have never been with this company!

This number has been calling me non stop for a month now. I blocked the number and googled it to see who it could be(thought maybe another collection agency thats why i didnt want to answer)I saw a few different options for possibilities as to who this could be. Anyway, decided to call them back today and it was Virgin Mobile, looking for an Alex something or other. Told them that this person no longer had the number they were calling, and the rep removed me from their call list. I am also in Ontario Canada.

It is NOT a collections agency. This phone number is from Bell Mobility, which handles Virgin Mobile, or Solo phone accounts that you have cancelled. All they call for is to tell you that you have a final balance on your account to make sure you pay it in case you forgot.

This number has been calling me for MONTHS up to seven times a day, excepted on weekends. I answered a few times - most of the times it was just some creepy background noise only to hung up after a few seconds. Once, an english female voice (I'm in Québec so speaking french only) said "Hello?" then hung up when I answered her. When I decided to call them back, I couldn't reach anyone and it said the number belonged to Virgin Mobile. I deal all my payments online and haven't got any problems so I was pretty sure that was a fraud.
Occasionnally, I also got empty background noise messages, as I blocked the number - still got the messages and missed calls in my history though.

After I went on a trip and didn't use/turn on my phone for three weeks, I retrieved my phone and they weren't calling anymore. Glad it's resolved now because it made me nervous and that was really annoying.
