Tired of getting these calls that do not apply to me.  We have a new phone number and these calls come in 2 and 3 times a day.
How do I get them to stop.  They have unknown number when they call so I can't screen them.

I used to work for a collection agency, NCO, whom this most likely is. The easiest why to get rid of them is to talk to them, get thier fax number and write what is called a cease and desist letter and fax it to them. This makes it pretty much illegal for them to continue calling. As to screening them don't bother, they have many way's of busting through phone blocks and if they can't do this they will just start phoning family, friends, and neighbors.

I am receiving calls from this number 2-3 times per day asking for a L. Van Herbadan whom is not know or connected to me. I was going to call this number and tell them to cease and desist but was unsure if this is some sort of scam. I should I do?

yup..unknown name and number. One message left for a name NOT mine. It was 20 years ago in my previous marriage. I did speak to a woman who said I had a bad record of paying my bills/ Say what? These are scams..obviously

I dont know what will i do if i`ll find somebody from those kinda agencies.They dont have any kind of good manners,they are harrassing people from 3 to 6-7 times a day,they know that and they know [***] Government allow them to do that,even pollice can do nothing.Point is some politicans get long buck through this.This will never stop.cuz some mighty [***] from Government make it legal.

I have repeatedly been called by this number.  It is telephone HARASSMENT at the highest level.  2-5 calls per day starting at 7:30 am until 8:00 pm is extremely impolite and discourteous.  I do not need any special deals or loan or credit card interest lowered. I have put up with this for a year and half and my patience has totally run out.  Please STOP CALLING.

It is NCO, a collection agency. I spoke with an rep from the company and told them that whomever they were looking for was not attached to this number. However, I still get calls everyday from their auto-dialer.

seriously stop calling my house, you start at 8 am, til 8 pm its getting annoying.

I know how you feel they even called me on a Saturday morning.

It is Nco financial. They are beyond ignorant and rude. They have called me 4 times back to back. Ill hitignore on my phone and they keep calling. If the calls are not back to back they are calling 8-9 times a day. Extremely annoying....how do i stop this??
