They call the customers and tell them that there amazon account is compromised and wants the access to the computer and once you give the access of your computer they run a scan and ask you for money for fixing the computer which is completley false there was nothing wrong with my computer they scammed me of $1000 and again called me for money i would ask amazon to take proper action against them as they are destroying there goodwill and they are actually known soft technology , softrow technology , softocode software , aspire marketing (australia) and they also run a fake software company name akick softwares in noida india .
Akick is the worst software it slows down your computer and it is in india .
There account of the company is also in india in some central bank of india , sahadra

I have been called repeatedly by this company, doing exactly as Roy Baker describes. This is just telemarketing.  My PC is full of Akick software & all the Indians give themselves Western names. They talk for hours about the scammers, & then demand money for 1 or 3 years `support;,.  Very persistent, preying on non-techies, in my case while I have been ill.  Plausible!.  Strongly advise reporting this phone scamming. Beware 0-800 520-0151.
