Un known call!

The caller ask for another person at my place of employment and gave me a account number to reference.

11:07am CT Got a voice mail to call this number with an account number to reference as well said "THIS IS NOT A TELEMARKETING CALL IT IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE"

Got a call from 8669017820 the message was to call back with reference number. I called back no answer. Don't know what kind of scam this is but I guess we'll see.

Got 2 calls from a recording to call this number with an account number.  No introduction and no company info.

I too got a phone call from 866-901-7820...on my cell even...was merely a recording saying this was an important call, was not a telemarketer, and gave some reference number which I failed to write or even try to memorize...WOW, what is our world coming too??? Dont ppl have other things to do with their time rather than to make us miserable???

Received call from this number on our emergency cell phone at work.  Knew right away that we should not be getting a call from an "866" number.  Did not pick up.  They did not leave a message.

Called & left message on my cell.  Reception was poor, so I only heard part of a 'reference number' that sounded exactly like one I had gotten a few months earlier from a debt collection firm looking for someone else.  I had my number removed that time, but here they were again.  Name sounded like' KH Financial', or something else like that I called back from a land line, and a man asked if I was some name I don't remember, I said no.  When I tried to argue that they had called before, he got a bit curt and rude, told me my number was being taken off the list, then quickly hung up. Both the call from months ago and this call came TO a Virgin Mobile cell number.

i got a call from this number they left a referencee number  called back no one answered  I am sure it is a nother scam to collect money to steal like I had before keep you posted\

Got a message left on my answer machine for me to call back with some id code .Just wondering if this is some sort of scam.

I was stupid enough to not register my cell phone at "do not call list". Got a call from the above number and answered it. A recorded message said they had important info about my account and prompted me to press a key for more details. I hang up. In situations like this you should ALWAYS hang up unless you've got extra money you want to get rid of.

This number listed on my cell phone as missed call. When I called the number, recording said this was KCA Financial services and please leave a message.  I thought cell phones were off limits to these creeps.

Received a call on my caller ID message left from KCA Financial "This is not a telemarketing call, use refernece # ABK761. When I called back there was an answering machine asking to leave information. From other posts I see this is scam of some sort.

My damn service required a credit card and when it expired AT&T sent me a message with an 866 area code requesting an updated card. In my opinion they have no business using my phone for that, they can use the mail or contact my credit card and ask that they contact me with any request. This stupid monopoly also sends messages that the last call cost me 15 cents, which is absolute idiocy, but thats not the problem, the message is imune to my phones screen timeout feature so if I miss the message and don't close it, it will drain the phones battery to zero! Even more amusing, is AT&T attacked my credit report and had collection agencies harrass me over mistaken identity. I still have yet to see them punished criminaly for that. Friends, their are just too many stupid people in places they should never have been allowed to get in control at.

This is a company named KCA Financial. They are not a scam or try to scam you. They are a company that collects debt. So if they are calling you, it means somewhere down the road you didn't pay something. They called me on an account that I left inactive a while back. It was Dvds through Columbia House. I paid it and now I am fine. Just find out what your debt is. Pay it and like any other debt collector they will leave you alone.

866-901-7820 calls but does not leave a message.   oooh weelllll too bad .. so sad!! aparently your call isn't important enu'f to leave a message.  we don't play these games w/unknown, unlisted, & toll free numbers!!    we have caller i.d., & if we don't recognize the number we simply do NOt answer the fone!    leave a message if your call is important to you, the caller, & we "mite" call you back.  they are the ones wasting their time, energy & money, not me.  i refuse to play that game & will NOT call any toll free number back, i don't care who it is.   if you need to get in touch about something you feel is important, send me a letter, otherwise, you can kiss you no what!!
