Its a man with an indian accent claiming to be Jordan Miller from the Dept of Legal Affairs of the US Treasury Dept. "Treasury Dept?" He tries to scare you acting as if you were in big troubles with the government.

Yes just received that same call, then when I mentioned my lawyer would contact him, he then hung up!!!!

Told me I was in trouble with the government and that police was coming to  locked me up. A woman called me  too and told me that I had problems with the IRS. Sometimes he will call me bad names and tell me that he's coming to my house and shut my mouth off.

It was a man with a heavy accent.  He was hard to understand but told me I needed to call because I had problems with the IRS.

Called me saying there is a criminal case from the department of treasury .So as the call goes on they ask me for my name and phone number ,So all I gave was my name they asked for the number I said you should have that on file.So the woman says oh she found the so called case.Then asked for my s.s.# I said yet again you should have that on file.So a few clicks on her computer she proceeds to ask about what I know about the case against me,I said I have no idea what it is about so then she says this phone call is being recorded for legal purposes and she said she was going to give me the details to the case and then i saidI am recording this call as well for my records and then she said ok the details to your case is then she hung up.

Received a call from 866-901-8043 the person told me he was from treasury department and I was in big trouble and he needed to get me over to the criminal department. I will go to the jail. I said your a scam and no I won't go to jail. He was very persistent saying I'm going to jail. Until he hung up. They don't contact you by phone and act that way. He could hardly speak English.

received a call from 866-901-8043 Mr. Miller and he left a message saying that he is from Department of Legal Affairs at US Treasurty. The message said that this is a verbal notification regarding a law enforcement action that started against my name. I called back the number via landline several times and they pickup then hang up.
After so many tries, someone picked up and answered US Treasury (a man with a very thick accent) I ask his what's is your address and he hang up.
My solution to this is  just blocked their number.

Calling about treasury dept it is a scam

He changed his last name to Thompson but he had trouble reading it off of his card.

He connected me to the agent handling my case, when I asked her REPEATEDLY where are you located she said "In your Mothers Ass" , I said ok your in the U.S. but which state? She hung up = P
