These people send out fake debit cards that requires activation.  On the back of the "fake" card in big letters it says MOCK.  The letter that comes with it says, "Congratulations, H.E.L. Processing would like to reward you with a VISA Gift Card.  There is NO COST TO YOU.  There is more to it, but this is the main part.  When you call, they want you to consolidate your federal loans and if you have already consolidated, you don't get the card!!  How do you figure that when they have already sent it to you?  They want information from you and say that all they want you to do is give a testimony about their free services.  Ha!  they are full of it.  Beware people.

Thanks for the info. I just received this card and wanted to see what it was all about. Just as I figured, another way to scam.

I thought it was a scam, but I wasn't sure.  Good thing I couldn't get through because the number was busy.

I did not get a call but received a "Debit Card" in the mail.  I could not find anything about H.E.L Processing on the Internet so I did a search on the phone number included in the letter.  This led me to your page.  I figured it was another junk mail marketing play...thanks for confirming it.

i also received the card and i called.  they were very helpful and informitive about student loan consolidation.  yes, i to was very skeptical about it but i went thru the process and gave my testimonial and i did indeed recieve the $300 the was promised.  i referred my friends that graduated with me and they too called and went thru the process.  the process took a total of 30 days.  they kept me updated with all progress.  there was a problem with my friends consolidation and she was immediately informed of it and the problem was fixed and the consolidation continued.

I called them to satisfy my "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" fascination and the guy started asking question after question like, "let me guess, you're in grad school?"  When he asked if I'd taken a break between college and grad school I said, "Excuse me sir but where are we going with this?"  He hung up instantly.

Thanks to all the posters to steer me away.  Got mine today 1/26.  Note if you do go thru with it like one person reported, the website says the card will not be honored if you don't apply for AND receive your loan after Feb 4.

Okay, how long have you been employed by this creepy company? I have dealt with them. Everything you stated can only come from the mouth of an employee.
