This is Bank of America Overdraft Services.  They call when your account is overdrawn.  Of course two weeks after it is overdrawn...  The caller ID had a California (626) area code.

they left a message on my home answer machine with the attention of no one in particular, saying it was from Bank of America and to call this number, and last comment was this is not a telemarketing call.

When I called the number it indicated it was overdraft services.

The strangest thing was....when I called BOA they called the number and told me it was a BOA number and they were convinced it was a real BOA number.  When I asked the associate if anything different was showing on my statement/billing/or overdraft - there was nothing to be noted as I have zero balance on overdraft.

called number - didn't sound like bank of america - i call BoA all the time for a variety of reasons and it connects immediately with a very professional sounding automatic system.  this is something else.  they asked for the phone number they had called when they left me a message and i gave it to them because i was curious about it.  they immediately gave me the name of someone associated somehow with the number.  very strange for a bank to give out names when you give them a phone number.  this is certainly a fraud/telemarketing/b.s. thing.  don't help them out.

    Phishing at work
Got this call on my office phone; "This is a time-sensitive call from Bank of America.  Your business is very important to us, so we would like to extend you an offer."  BofA doesn't have this number as I didn't have it/supply it when account was opened.  In the past, when there has been an issue (say, funds withdrawn while overseas), BofA has called the *home* phone to verify that there was no fraudulent activity.  This call seems phishy to me.

I just had this same exact message on my answering machine, telling me that they have an offer to extend to me.  I closed my Bank of America Account months ago because of their horrible service and went to a local credit union instead.  I have no idea what this is even about.  My account was definitely not overdrawn when I closed it out.

They keep calling a business number for over a year that is clearly identified as such and has never heard of the named individual they are looking for.

This number is actually connected toBank of America for overdrafts only. I had quit a bit of overdrawn fees and they even reversed some of the fees.
They also help you to make extensions on overdrafts and avoid getting your account closed.
    They're real.

We got the same call on our machine. One major problem. *No one* in our home has ever had an account with BOA in the first place. Can't be real.
