Somebody named Bryan called from this number claiming to represent Ashfield Management Services and that he was collecting for an account I previously had.

I can't find a website for a company by that name. Probably a scam.

Seems like a potentially valid claim call.  I called after getting a message from Brian as well that stated there was a potential claim on me and that they wanted to give me a chance to discuss it before it went any further.  It turned out that whatever the claim was, wasn't for me, but we verified that by him asking me to confirm information (like is this the last four of your social and is this your middle initial), he didn't ask me to give any personal information myself, so didn't seem like scam or phishing to me.
