Caller ID says "UNAVAILABLE".  They leave no message.

I call back during business hours.  I hear the following, "I'm sorry we missed you.  We were calling about the upcoming election.  Thank you."  Note the lack of mention of a telemarketing firm name or even which party they represent.  Also note the lack of a do-not-call option.

At best this is a telemarketing firm who will pocket a substantial cut of your donation.  It is also quite possible that they are fraudsters who will pocket virtually all of the loot.  I strongly recommend going to the candidate's pages or well known and longstanding groups affiliated with the party of your choice if you are so inclined to donate.  Do not encourage the telemarketers.

Gone for 3 months.  They're back!

Number still blocked.  They only called once.  Looked elsewhere for info but found nothing interesting.

Didn't know number so I don't answer. Besides getting put on a sales list of live answers, there is a New scam that involves them recording an affirmative "Yes" in your voice.  Any of these that come through as 800 Service, Unavailable, or just City & State are junk. They are buying clumps of numbers or cloning numbers and blocking them doesn't seem to work. No message left. These scammers just keep calling from various new numbers. How aggravating!!
