Daniel Whitman phone number 2103350595 called and said he was with Bexar Co. which is not true. He gave me phone number 866-907-5365 which was supposed to belong to a Davis, Stein, and Grish.... I cannot find evidence of this being a legitimate company. The man who was supposed to give me information claimed I was being rude and that he was not going to help me. They claimed that I was being sued. Nobody ever told me what this was in reference to which leads me to believe that this is a scam or an aggressive debt collector. Either way, to claim to be an authority you are not and to refuse to help someone you are supposedly suing is wrong.

This is definitely a scam.

My mom has been hospitalized for a few weeks and is 85 and always pays her bill.  This jerk was on her answering machine and said the callback number is 1-866-907-5365 and that legal documents were being delivered for her between 1pm and 5pm the next day and there would be severe consequences if she wasn't there to pick them up.  BTW the call came in at 9pm at night according to my mom's answering machine.  Seriously?!  Has to be a scam.

I just got hung up on 8 times because I am asking too many questions. The guy answering is obviously not used to someone calling him a "debt collector". I thought he was going to cry in anger. All I want is a Legitimate ADDRESS! I've been bounced about so many times I'm done! The debt was paid years ago. I hate how these debt collectors call themselves law offices-buy and sell the same debt looking to harass the elderly! Looking for victims to pay the same debt many times over! DO NOT GIVE CREIT CARD OVER PHONE.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I didnt get an original communication but no one i spoke to was interested in giving exact address.

Thanks for posting! I just dealt with the same situation! The debt is from 7 years ago and paid by the insurance company.

Refusal to give exact address or identity. Hung up on me when I asked questions about the debt and told i would be served asap. Didnt confirm my address or my exact identity. Harassment and fraud.

Received same type call on my unlisted cell asking for someone else that was linked through previous address.

Dont give these people the time of day!

They block their number, wont give name, no one ever tried to deliver any papers....
