- Wilk| 2 repliesIgnored call, they did not leave a message. I called back to check number and received automated message that it was Credit One bank. I hung up as it was about to connect me with someone. I do have a credit one card but I have nothing overdue and my payment is not due for another week. Not sure of the purpose of the call but they will call from different numbers throughout the month. Strange company, Can't wait to get rid of this card.

- PamThis is credit one bank, visa cards. They are a joke. They start calling a 4 days before the payment is due. Call my cell phone, call my work number. Arrogant and pushy. My payments are never late and always made online on my due date. As soon as this one is paid off, there will be no more with this company. Wants to take care of the entire balance today with my bank information. DO NOT ANSWER!

- Got One Better For You| 1 replyI saved 1(866)910-8032 under DO NOT ANSWER in my directory. When Credit One bank calls and I see DO NOT ANSWER in the call Identifier box, I immediately press REJECT or just ignore the call. Getting this card was not a mistake, but it was a MAJOR learning experience - cheap lesson.
- Kiss My GritsI like the option of storing Credit One's phone number under DO NOT ANSWER. Later I can delete the call from my Recent Calls and/or Missed Call list later, at MY!!!!!!!! leisure.
- Time discretion| 1 replyI opened credit one card recently and am not even past due on bill I have gotten 6 to 8 calls a day by this company. It starts as early as 7 am and does not stop sometimes until 9 pm. It is aggravating. I think I will go buy a whistle and when I am woken up by this call well......they def. Will have hard time hearing if someone answers. You want to be a pest well usually you try to defer a pest with anything you can to get them the hell a way.

- MARY M. replies to Got One Better For YouThank you for this tip! I will use it too. In the same boat here, but hey it is a lesson learned, thanks!
- David replies to WilkI had a Credit One card also, and I sent them a letter last week and told them to close the account. This company is a joke. All my payments have been early and at least double the minimum and they would call me every month 3 days before due date to remind me. Also after the payment was taken from my bank account they would put a hold on the available funds for 8 business days before releasing the funds. That is absurd. The money is an ACH withdrawl from checking. Absolutely no reason for that
- RandyNot sure what this number is but to make matters worse I called the real customer service number and the guy hung up on me because I wouldn't give him my social security number what a joke

- Raj replies to WilkYes. They've done pretty much the same to me. Then they'll stop for many months and start again. Looks like they've been doing this for years
- Michelle| 1 replyAs soon as I was approved for the Credit One credit card I began receiving spam calls from as early as 7:30AM until around 9:00pm, 7 days a week. Even though no payments are past due, I get harassed by the company every day of every week. I've listed my number on the "Do Not Call Registry, and included that company - and made no difference. I've since, installed a call blocker app. That has resolved the harassment I've been experiencing.

You clearly failed to read the details of what is covered and not covered by the registry. I also don't understand how you "included that company" when you registered your phone number.Quote:I've listed my number on the "Do Not Call Registry, and included that company - and made no difference.
https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/national-do-not-call-registry-faqsQuote:How long will it take for sales calls to stop?
Your phone number should show up on the Registry the next day, but it can take up to 31 days for sales calls to stop. You can check whether your number is on the Registry at DoNotCall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the number you want to verify.
See, it pays to read and learn.Quote:Can a company still call me with a sales pitch?
Companies can call you if you’ve recently done business with them, or if you’ve given them written permission to call. But if you ask them not to call you, they have to stop. Be sure to write down the date you asked them to stop.
