They called asking for my husband to give him a "very special message". They won't give him that message without account information. lol He's messing with a manager (already went through the telemarketer and gave her a new [***]) as I type this.

I HATE these type of calls with a passion.

I got one too. It was a call from Capital One, but wouldn't give me any info without confirming who I was. So, I hung up. Got back to work to make sure it was really them, but I couldn't find this number anywhere on their website. Sounds like a scam to me.

Just got a call from capital one saying to call this number. It was a   recording asked for my personal info.  I just hung up, if Cap One needs me they know the right way to find me.

Call I got was from Capital One Auto Finance - called the number back and the automated message stated that they were trying to get me to set up automatic payments for my car loan through my bank account!  I hung the phone up when they wanted me to do this.
