Did not answer, previously had blocked the number, left a message; "Calling to talk about repayment options for your student loans" and left 866-949-5391 as a contact number and also provided a reference number. SCAM!! I had previously blocked the number with another scammer on the other end of the call.

Thank you Gabby, just got a voice message, but no phone call?  Thought it might be a scam.

Rang 1/2 ring and went to voicemail. "Cindy" left voicemail about student loans. with reference number. Sounded automated.

Update, i called back and after the automated message went through some options, there was one that said "if you currently don't have any student loans, press 9 to be removed from the list". after i pressed 9, it said "you do not qualify and will be removed from the list". GOOD

I got one too from Cindy today. It came up with a Texas # so I called it and they hung up after I said  you called about loan repayments. When I called the 866 #, asked if loan was under 10k to push 2, I did it and said I don’t qualify.  Scam

Called from an Ohio number and left the same student loan message w/866 number as others said above. Call from number is definitely spoofed as I looked it up and it belongs to a person in their 80s living at a private residence. SCAM!!

Cindy called from a KY number about my student loans, don't have any, definitely a scam.

Cindy gets around!  She called me from Liverpool, Pennsylvania.  Otherwise… same as everyone else… student loan scam.

Same as others. Scam of student loans. Blocked # they called from & their 866#. Pieces of [***] telemarketer scams for sure.

One thing I've wondered about for quite a long time:  I've received at least a  dozen of these student loan scam calls.  Some at home, some at my work number, and probably some on my mobile phone as well.  (But I never answer calls to my mobile phone unless I recognize the caller's number, since I get so many spam calls; I figure if it's a real person, they'll leave me a voicemail.)  Since the scammers leave a call-back number, oughtn't the law enforcement people, with the cooperation of the phone companies, be able to figure out who that number belongs to, and take appropriate action?  I know that the caller ID info can be spoofed, but the number they provide for contacting them must belong to some actual phone company customer, somewhere.

I’ve been receiving so many texts from 949-866-2339 calling me “Willie”, stating I was overcharged on my Costco purchases, wanting me to refer back to another
text for reimbursement.  This is definitely a scam.

Same blocked number texting about a diet plan. Claiming to be for celeb diet pills.
No call back or text response allowed.

This number  text  ( no phone calls) a message saying they were from Xfinity and thank me for a payment. I know it was a scam because Xfinity always sends me an email for confirmation.the text also read thank you for always paying early  and we want to reward you with a new Verizon S10 cellphone. Xfinity would never give you a free phone for paying on time.

Constant text messages addressed to Diana!  Have sent STOP and they refuse.  Can't block the [***]!

Have received voicemails & texts from same #. Blocked each and everytime but still getting the same o same o. I pressed "9" to be removed but does not seem to work. SO FRUSTRATING & ANNOYING!  The games people enjoy playing are mindboggling. Nothing better for them to do..

Text message addressing me by name as they've been trying to "arrange a delivery" for me, providing a link to what I can only assume was malware or an opportunity to provide all manner of personal/payment info.
