I've gotten 30 calls from this number.  No one answers and not one leaves a message.  I am about ready to fly to Ohio to burn the goddamned building down that houses this number.

Called 7/11/12 and claimed to be from the Statesman Journal. Bogus call.

This does sound like something the Staesman Journal would do. I quit them YEARS ago and they still spam me, etc.

Calls repeatedly. I repeatedly ignore them. They keep calling anyway. I will continue to ignore them. I put all my phones on the Do Not Call list about 10 days ago. We'll see if it has any affect at all with the relentless spammers.

It's the crapass USA TODAY org re Statesman JOURNAL --phone their offices TEN TIMES for each time they call you.  Eventually they will wise up.

I've been getting this caller every night for a week. It rings once, no messages left. Please...............stop.

They keep calling me! I cant seem to get them to stop

Received this call for the first time today! I answered and silence.
I'm not sure if this is related, but just yesterday I faxed my power of attorney to wells Fargo home mortgage because my mother is behind in payments and I'm trying to make it right. Is anyone else dealing with Wells Fargo (or a collector) for anything close to the same? When I talk to them and find out for certain, I promise to post the name or company behind the number if this is the case.

Calls daily, leaves no message or ID.  "Toll Free Caller."  From previous reports, Gannett Publications; aka USA Today, Statesman Journal.  I recently canceled our subscription due their news bias & slanting.  Believe trying to get me to sign up for their 'essential' "news."

My guess: an auto dialer. An auto dialer "bot" with no brain. It never answers and never learns.

These calls started around two weeks after cancelling the Statesman Journal.
They have called 14 times without leaving a single message.
Called the number anonymously and a message saying they are representing the Statesman Journal.
I think I will have these calls forwarded to the USA Today subscriber line. 🐷

3+ months later they are still calling. I blocked the # but can still see that they are calling about every day.
I did try forwarding their calls for 2 weeks to the Statesman Journal aka Urinal subscription #, then turned off the call forwarding only to find that this trick did not work. So from this day on, their calls fwd to 999-999-9999 along with all the other Telepests on my list.
