    Yeah they claimed to be conducting an investigation for an arbitrary suit on my mother.  Wouldn't provide any details but wanted me to answer questions.  I am an officer in the military who deals with investigations so i called them out and just told them to supena my JAG lawyer if this was a real investigation.  They are nothing but a debt collection agency if your not the one who owes the debt tell them to add you to their do not call list.

    Do not give any information to these crooks! They called me for 2 mysterious deliquent accounts from 2006. They said due to non payment, evading, and attempting to fraud a bank! I commited a felony and they are pressing felony charges against me in my local county unless I paid them. Naturally I became seriously concerned and requested information on these accounts, and to mail me any and all information so I can look at them. They refused to mail me any information,  I then asked if my lawyer can speak with them. They stated they needed written verification from me to speak with him, but then would not give me a fax number or mailing address to send anything to. and then when I became adamant about them giving me information, fax number or mailing address so I or my lawyer could get resolution on these bogus charges, they hung up on me! They are a third party arbitration office which means telemarketer/bill collector. I wish I researched them before giving them the time of day.

    So like Tara M said they hit me with a bogus account from 2006. They went into the same spill about attempting to defraud a bank and their an arbitration working with my county authorities.  I was very concerned as the bank they said I used to take out a payday advance from Cash America I don't bank with. I asked for some information and Investigator Carly Smith was stuttering and kept circling back to these evading and defraud charges.....that's when I jumped onlin e and found out they are a collection agency that I wish I would I have never given 3 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

    I received a message from an "automated" recording to contact the number about "something" that was returned from my bank. Keep in mind that they called my mothers home and left the message(mistake#1). Before returning the call I checked and called my bank to see if anything was returned and for what reason. My bank said everything was good with my accounts. I then called the number and reached some [***]. The message ONLY said my 1st name, no last name. I asked what company does he represent? He said ???? Mediation(aka SCAM, CROOKS, CONTRACTED DEBT COLLECTORS). I then asked him, "what bank are u calling in regards to??". He said that they represent many banks. I then asked him why he was calling me? He asked what is my name? I replied that I not giving u any info on me, u should already have that or I should have been contacted by "official" letter with company letterhead. His reply....."Don't worry about it! You can explain it when they pick up(arrest me)! I told him to GO TO HELL and hung up!! SCAM/contracted debt collection.LMAO!! Pay these idiots no mind!!! DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY!!!!

    DEBT COLLECTION LESSON: when u are contacted by a debt collector/bill collector/collections dept, when u are on the phone with them they(by federal, local, &company laws/rules) must verify that they are talking to the right person. So they will ask for some info(full name, DOB, last 4 of SS#, address). OBVIOUSLY, u can't trust everyone. So let it go to voice mail, they must leave a contact number and state the name of the company. They cannot give details about the nature of the call on a voicemail. Get some info on the company or the number they called from. Call them back and make sure u ask for an "employee ID#" something that can identify THAT person in their system. If they can't give u one, its probably a SCAM or a "contracted or sub contracted" collection company. ALL BANKS handle their own collections just as they handle their own customer service. If the bank can't collect on a debt from u(an account closed while in the negative, etc) , the BIG BANK will charge off the account and it will remain on your credit(in most cases), or they will sale the account to a collection agency(they say mediation but the bank has sold the account to these guys and washed theirs hands of it, SO THE BANK WILL NOT GET ANY OF THE MONEY IF U ACTUALLY PAID THESE [***] ANYTHING). These mediation/bill collectors are unprofessional [***]! If u say that your lawyer is handling things, ALL THEY CAN DO IS: A) take down your attorney name and number then end the call or B) forward u or give u info to reach their legal dept. BUT THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTIST AND ARE BREAKING EVERY "FEDERAL AND STATE" COLLECTION LAW POSSIBLE!!! DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!! REMEMBER, ALL BANKS HANDLE THEIR OWN COLLECTIONS JUST AS THEY DO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Your banks customer service will even forward u to the collections dept.

    This message is from Anthony Hill.  This message was posted right after I hung up with Anthony Hill.  He was rude and would not give the name of his company.  I spoke to Michael Smith as well IE the name associated with this message.  THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST.  THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL.  THEY ARE A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY AND NOT AN ARBITRATION COMPANY.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.  I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE FCC BECAUSE THEY ARE BREAKING MANY FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS WITH THEIR COLLECTION METHODS.  IF YOU ARE CONTACTED FROM 866-949-6447 CONTACT THE FCC THEY ALREADY HAVE A COMPLAINT ON FILE. A DEBT COLLECTOR CANNOT CLAIM TO BE A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OR SUGGEST THAT IT IS CONNECTED WITH THE FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT(A COLLECTOR MAKING THIS KIND OF CLAIM IS PROBABLY LYING. THEY CAN'T CLAIM TO BE AN ATTORNEY OR THAT A COMMUNICATION IS FROM AN ATTORNEY. THEY CANT THREATEN TO TAKE ACTION THAT ISN'T INTENDED OR CAN'T BE TAKEN. THEY CANT FALSLEY CLAIM YOU HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME.  THE FDCPA (15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 to 1692p) REQUIRES THAT A COLLECTION AGENCY MAKE CERTAIN DISCLOSURE AND PROHIBITS THE COLLECTOR FROM ENGAGINGING IN MANYKINDS OF ABUSIVE OR DECEPTIVE BEHAVIOR. A DEBT COLLECTOR'S FIRST COMMUNICATION WITH YOU MUST TELL YOU THAT HE OR SHE IS ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT A DEBT AND THAT ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM YOU WILLBE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.  IN SUBSEQUENT COMMUNICATION, THE COLLECTOR MUST TELL YOU HIS OR HER NAME AND THE COLLECTION AGENCY'S NAME.

    The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

    •is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
    •refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
    •asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
    •exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

    If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

    •Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
    If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.•Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
    •Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
    •Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
    •Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

    They are not even a third party arbitration office, telemarketer/bill collector. These people are scammers using fictitious debts in hope that some of their calls will bring them money from scared people thinking the phone calls are real.
    I have received plenty of calls from them using different numbers. They have even gone as far as telling me they are on their way to serve me court papers in hope that I would fall to their scam. Of course no one has ever shown up. Of course they tell you they may stop by your place of employment in hopes that you may feel embarrassed or belittled by them showing up and hope you give in.
    Be strong people. You should be the first to know if you owe money or have written bad checks but these people aren't smart enough to figure that out and prey on those who do.

    This company is full of BS because Mr. Hall called me and said that I have a payday loan with "Payday Yes" and the loan was for $2500 but they are willing to settlerment for $600.I asked for the phone number of the Payday loan company and he give me a fake number that was disconnected. I went on line to do some research of this company they claim I have a loan with and found out that this company is a third party company and do not issues payday loans. I call the fake azz collections company to told them about my research and he hung up on me, so I called back and this Melissa Ford answer the phone and told me that he was now in a meeting. This witch started calliing my home phone calling me all kinds of [***]'s and she was looking at my FaceBook page and told me how she was going to put out a hit on my kids. This witch called my home 10 times in one hour. I am going to report these people.
