They are scammers.

i recently returned  from Europe where i had to replace my 1.5yrs old hard drive. I thought it was w10 problem.my pc would not boot windows, and i couldn't get to dos, so i replaced the hard drive. yesterday i received a urgent msg to install new Asus software. like dummy i only looked at the msg with all the proper logos and installed it without checking the address. 3 hours later my pc locked up. i called the number and i got a person that said he was Ms licensed support. he was going to help me , wanted to take control of my pc, finally the alarm went off. I hung up,  i am at a loss where to start with my  pc and router reset the whole system ? I would like to get the FBI involved also. need help, or suggestions, this has become and expensive and time consuming .
