I got the same letter.  Poor quality letter, black and white $1298 valued award for tickets.  Only a fool would call...

Yup I got one also. I say we all go track this chick/dude or whatever the hell they are down for a little ass whooping.

I received my letter from Shea Steil for two round trip tickets a few days ago, and I am now basking in the Hawaiian sun as a result. Just kidding ... this is a scam.

I received the same letter today. There isn't even an airline with that name....American Airways. Scam!

Umm, if the company doesn't exist, how can they give anything away?

It is a come on to get you into a high pressure sales presentation for a travel club of some sort.  The "travel vouchers" you receive afterwards for your "free" airline tickets have fees and serious restrictions on when and with whom they can be used. They make you think they are associated with American Airlines but note that it states American Airways.  Other versions use United Airways and US Airlines, always similar names to the actual airlines designed to fool people.

I received the same letter in the mail today and the envelope was handwritten. It went to the shredder directly.
