The following is a complaint letter I am filing to C2C company.
    Dec. 18, 2008

    "Dear Sir or Madam,

I am contacting you in regards to an unfortunate experience I had today.
This morning between 9:30 and 10:00 my company was contacted by your sales person Monique; after she was politely informed that we do not outsource our collections, she became irate. Due to her temper the call was immediately disconnected. She repeatedly called back to verbally abuse and harass  several of my employees, raising her voice and screaming threats. She called not once, not twice, but six times! This behavior is unacceptable in a business environment. Perhaps this is how you handle your collections, but I would certainly believe this is not how you should communicate with your customers or potential customers.
I hope you remedy this situation immediately.
Thank you for your time. Have a happy holiday.

            Sincerely,"

This is how they treat their potential customers!!!

Received call from someone stating they were an investigator, Case Number 806002,and they were looking into our company. Provided the name of Kelly Hand, C2C Resources and I should call them. The mysterious investigator stated I should call. I looked the call up and it stated the call was from a collection agency. I called the number X328 and told them I will not discuss the matter with them. I did not receive the service.

Thanks Miguel for validating my report. The call I received made it sound as if our company was under investigation by the FBI or Criminal Agency.

I received a call this morning (MLK day) from an unknown called on my caller ID. The man identified himself at Barry Mazer (sp?). He listed my address and said he was trying to contact Kathren Peg, who was listed as living with me. He said this was regarding case number 807031 and said it was urgent. He said to return his call at 866-955-1755, ext. 307. For the record i do not know the person he was looking for, nor does my neighbor (no one by the name kathren lives with me). Also, my address and number is unlisted and my cell phone is registered in my mothers name. This seems weird to me.. i call this phone call a RED flag!

Okay, just hear me out on this. I would be willing to bet that 99% of the "comments" on this site are complaining about this collection agency harassing them to either, a) help relieve the guilt they "should" be having for skipping out on a debt, or b)think that if you keep on denying it to yourself and everyone else, eventually it will all go away. Sorry, it doesn't work that way.
If I had an issue with a company for merchandise and/or a service received that was not to my satisfaction, NOT PAYING THE BILL is absolutely not how I would handle it. I would get it resolved the correct way, because guess what...two wrongs STILL don't make a right! If you are not able to get it resolved, then take it to court.  If you are in the right, not only will the issue be resolved, but it won't cost a thing.  Losers pay for court costs. Hey, it's the American way.
Also, a key rule in life to keep creditors at bay is to NEVER buy something on credit unless you are financially able to pay for it. When you run up a credit card knowing that you aren't going to be able to pay for it, in my eyes, I call that "THEFT BY TAKING".
My suggestion to you people would be to quit wasting all of your time submitting all of these whiny complaints on this site and instead try to rectify the problem with your bad debt. It's amazing how they get off of your back when you own up to your financial obligations!! Collection agencies don't go after someone just for the fun of it.  It is a job that they were hired to do by a company that got stiffed by people like you. (no, I don't work for a collection agency, but I definitely have had to use them at my job) Last thought on this............................
STOP ALL OF YOUR COMPLAINING AND GROW UP AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBLITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I stated previously, NO, I do not work for that company. If I did, I wouldn't deny it. I do however, have a REAL job at a REAL company with my main priority being the collecting of balances due from our customers/clients. I have been in this line of work for over 30 years, and one thing I learned (rather quickly)is people DON'T want to let go of their money. They come up with anything and everything to justify the reasoning as to why they shouldn't pay a debt. Most cases, they feel like they need the money more than the individual/business. "Hey, why should I have to pay ABC Company X amount of dollars. They don't need it as much as I do." How many people out there have thought just that?
Just imagine how much better the economy would be if everyone would follow through on all of their personal and/or business transactions as agreed upon initially. Unfortunately, people can't quite grasp the concept of following a "BUDGET".  People have become needy and extremely impatient. When they want something, they get it without considering all the ramifications.
Once everyone owns up to their debts and educates themselves on wide world of budgeting, the economy would show a drastic improvement(in simple terms, prices go down). If you don't believe me, well its time for you to  apprise yourself of the main cause of the recession we are experiencing!!  Again, it all boils down to people wanting something for nothing.  I am referring to the housing market. You want to know what really caused the major downslide? People buying homes with no downpayment. (gee, something for nothing) My question is, who in their right mind would actually fall for that one? Well, lets think about it for a minute. Oh yea, could it be the thousands upon thousands of people that have recently experienced foreclosure on their homes? Absolutely!!!!  What is it going to take to get people to understand that nothing in life is FREE!

Huh, I just reread my response to you before sending it on, and it made me sad.  Sad because this nation has no chance to improve.  Between all of the lowlifes that don't believe in paying for what they have received, and the possibility of everyone actually accepting responsibility of becoming hardworking citizens that are willing to EARN A LIVING, we haven't got a chance!!. As long as they have access to free money from the taxpayers, why bother.
    Bottom line is this...
Between our "glorious" government and the numerous laws that have been created to protect the rights of criminals, lethargic welfare recipients, and all of  the other losers out there that think they are intitled to a free ride, we don't have a chance of becoming a healthy nation.
    I'm debt free, are you?
