called at 7:30 a.m. about my "homeowners policy" to "verify we have your correct information".  Except I don't have any homeowners insurance!

They called me at 7:30 in the morning.  Earlier than any creditor has ever called, but they are not a creditor.  They are Progressive Home Advantage or something similar and said "I am giving you a call back . . . sorry we got disconnected . . . I would be more than happy speaking to you about the two withdrawals for this month"

I have no clue what they are talking about.  I have no such account.

Got a similar message from them saying that my policy would be cancelled per my request.  We couldn't remember having such a policy.  However, after contacting Progressive through another number, they verified that this was a legit number for a legit part of their company.  Then we contacted them and found that we did indeed have a policy with them for a short time that we didn't remember having before (remembered after the fact). Anyway- it's a legit number and company.
