- JeffAccording to a postcard I got in the mail, this number is to a company that supposedly offers a work at home opportunity doing Government Insurance Refund Processing for people who have paid off their home and supposedly have a refund due. Tried pulling number up on Better Business Bureau website but there was no business on file with this number. Have no idea regarding the legitimacy of business or work. Maybe you were looking for work at home opportunities and they somehow got your number. Called number and they offer to send you a "free work at home info package" if you pay $3.95 s&h fee. Would be VERY careful without doing further investigating if I was you. Good luck!!
Jeff - Barb| 3 repliesReceived a post card with the following information on it:

When I called the number they required $3.99 for a "free work at home info package". It was explained in a pre-recorded message this would involve calling people. Sounds like the phone calls are paid by you, but not sure. Nothing was mentioned who pays for the phone calls.- Caller: Unknown

now they are using this tactic (Goverment Insurance Refund Processor)
The U.S. Goverment is NOT sending letters or postcards nor making calls to people at home or work
to offer you a job. if you want to work for the goverment you must go thru http://www.usa.gov and click on ■Apply for Government Jobs.

- Mirza replies to The EnforcerThanks for this information .
- AdamDavilaToday I received this post card with the same offer and I doubt very serious that this is a legitimate work from home job. Consider the facts already posted 1) BBB has no listing-if this was a Government Job it would be listed! 2) Why isn't this posted in the news papers as that is the real way Government Jobs are posted! 3)Just doesn't make real sense! If you do pay the S&H fee they ask for Debit/Credit Card as the only way to pay! There goes the house up in flames! You let me know how it worked out for you if you try!
- SheenaI also received a card in the mail saying that they have been trying to get a hold of me which i knew wasn't true. I tried to look up this company on google and got this site called 800notes.com. I knew it was scam so i ripped up the card.
- AmyaI received a postcard with the same info as everyone above. I'm glad I found this site to confirm this may be a scam. Also, not to mention this postcard has no return address or business name on it.
No thank you! - meehahjust received the same card and my husband was so excited that i got a good job but i was doubting it coz i dont think the government would write anything to you without an envelop good try scammer but u aint getting ma money sooorrrryyy
