Got a call from a James Mccarti.   Said he was in Northglenn Colorado.  Had my mother in law correct name and address.    Told me she had won an American cash award raffle.   1st prize was 3.5 million dollars and an 2011 Mercedes!     She wasn't,t home but I could claim her prize for her!    Told to go buy a G D Money Scratch card at CVS or Walmart for $145.00 dollars.    This covered shipping and handling.
Then call him back at above number and UPS jet would fly to CA today from CO and deliver prizes.   He told me a women mamed Shirley Brooks would be with the UPS people.    He also gave me a 12 digit confirmation number to confirm my prize with the UPS people.       I played with him for 30 min asking all these questions and when he wanted my name to claim prize and I told him my m-i-l should claim prize ....he finally got upset with me and told me to get off his phone and he hung up on me!!!    Damn almost had a new car!!!

this has got to be a scam to get hard working people out of their money!

What you had on the end of that line was a dirty,black "Chimpanzee" dressed in filthy shorts and a ripped up wifebeater shirt. He was sitting in a small leanto with chickens/roosters running around (you can usually HEAR them in the background).His "Computer" was a "Etch-A-Scetch" that he was looking up your info on.
They DO use "MagicJacks" registered so they LOOK like they are in 702 (vegas) 775(reno) 305(florida) 256(alabama) and a few others....
BE SMART! ask yourself who in their right mind would hire someone that SOUNDS like these Dingbats?

yeah I like to block my number and mess with the Guy every night. I tell him he has won our frequent caller prize which is a free trip to Hawaii. I've called him so many times with a different accent. I've even thought of putting his number on Facebook to get all my friends doing the same. his Guy is going to regret calling me! got you scamming [***].

Yep, James mcarpi or something similar, connection was terrible. Same MO, mercedes and cash, go get greenback card from walmart for $333.03. Had alot of fun gettong him to pronounce louisiana placenames, lol. Loved the bit about call being recorded by homeland security, like they are gonna protect my money, lol. When I told him I could be in baton rouge in just under 2 hours to deliver in person, line went dead. Go figure!

I just got called by another 876 number...876-860-5930.  I work with jamaicains and this guy on the line was very obviously jamaican, told me i had won 1.5 million dollars and a pearl white 2012 mercedes benz and that my prizes were going to be delivered to me by the FBI and Federal Marshals or something.  when i asked him how he got my name he said "when was the last time you were shopping at the Walmart?"  Thank god for this website and another like it, i was checking his bogus story out before i gave him any personal info, and i hung up on him as he started to say i needed to purchase a TAX TICKET(???) to pay taxes on my prize. (???)  Ridiculous.  Dont get scammed!

another scam number.

James Mccarti told my mom that she had won 2.5 million dollars and a new car. He made it sound like she really did win. Asking her if she believed in God and this was a gift from God. That God had blessed her today. Really making my mom believe him. James wanted her to get a Green Dot Card and load $800.00 dollars on to it and give him a call back when she got the money on the card. She loaded the money onto the card and asked God to PLEASE PLEASE DONT LET THIS BE A SCAM. When we got back home she got a BAD intuition and called Green Dot and blocked her card and her money before she gave him the numbers on the card. We called james 1-876 number back and played around with James for a little bit and he was getting very very MAD that he couldn't get her money off the Green Dot card, and started CURSING at her. Calling back to back and then hanging up on her then calling agian. When he started cursing that's when we knew it was a scam and she was go glad that she listened to her intution cause she would of lost $800.00 dollars and NO GIFTS!!!!!

Person by the name - Michael Smith with an accent called my 17 year old daughter on her cell phone. He did not want to talk to me.  He wanted her to send  Margaret Mitchell $450.00 western union to Thoreau, New Mexico. I asked him to let me speak to the Lawyer or FBI Agent. Then he said press the number 4 to transfer the call to talk with the FBI agent. Then he changed his voice on me, LOL. I asked him since when do you have to start paying for prizes that you won for free. I told him deliver it first then you will get your money after she cashes her $870,000.00 check and get her 2012 black Mercedes. This guy said that it will be 6 people dressed in black in white escorted by a U.S. Marshall and the FBI. IT IS A HOAX, HOAX, HOAX, SCANDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Called the operator and she verified what I been feeling the whole time to prove to my daughter that it was a scam.

Thank you for this website.. Got a call today stating that I won 55miliion dollars from the lottery.... And. I also won a  Mercedes ..... His name was mike Harris stating that he was the Manager for mega millions ....he made it seem so Real ....and I almost Got scammed... If it wasn't for this site  I think these ppl would of gotten my money...I was told to go to wallmart and make a money gramm.... For 1,500.00 it was a  fee to process the money to IRS ...After I have done his my money will be deliverd through UPS today. But I was scepticle .... Then I  did a few more research finding out the number he told me to call the area code came out to be in jamacia....Damm these guys

I received a call from "Terry Jackson" with Publishers Clearing house awarding me $10.5 mil.  My part was to put $499.00 on a Green Dot Money Pack Card.  He would verify the card and then when UPS showed up at my house, they would give me the notarized check and a new Pearl White Mercedes.  Awesome try bucko.  I’m going to mess with this guy somehow.  Any ideas?

I received call this morning by a guy name Tommy Lee as well and they are suppose to be coming to my house and bringing me the merchandise first. After I get the merchandise they want me to go to Western Union and sent money to Jane Hardin, 11609 Price Dr, Oklahoma City, OK, 73170. They called me from a private number, but did provide me a out of country number. He stated he is here with UPS and will be at my house tomorrow....I would love to get these guys caught by scamming people if I could...Any ideas

This person called saying he was from Publishers Clearing House. I had won money, wanted me to buy a green dot card from walgreens to cover shipping for my prize. Keeps calling my cell phone. Obviously a scam!
