Larry it scam call........Google jamaican lottery scam!!..DO not call them back just ignore the calls!!

Yes 876-384-4164 is a scam source.  
- Legit toll free numbers start with "800, 888, 877, 866 or 855" per the FCC site:  http://www.fcc.gov/guides/toll-free-numbers-and-how-they-work
- Scammers get money two ways
 -- Getting receipt information from the purchase of a cash card allows them to claim funds without a card
 -- Keeping you in a "toll free" call, that is not toll free for as long as they can...you pay your carrier and the carrier pays the scammers through how ever many carrier hops it takes

call from jamaica 876-414-2948 is what i got and a man told me to call  876-384-4164 along with other info; which was a company attorney, package code #, confirmation #, and the dollar amount that was owed to me.  i didn't call that number, it sure does sound like a SCAM for sure.  and when i didn't call back that number the call from jamaica 876-414-2948 called me back but i didn't answer.

don't take these calls or return the call.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Love that iPhones indicate the city, state, and/or country on incoming calls that are not known in my contacts/address book. It said Jamaica so I did not answer it. Checked the number here on 800 notes and sure enough, scam scam scam lol. Problem easily fixed for me... BLOCKED.. :)

I received a call from this number on my cell phone. It was a man who said his name was David Sayer with Publishers Clearing House. He said that I had won 10.5 million  and he wanted me to keep him on the line while I drove to the newest western union office, to set up the payment I would get each Wednesday. This western union would take care of the taxes, of 249.99. So I played along, he even asked me if I needed to change clothes before I "drove him " to the Western  union office. He hung up on me when I told him we were on the way to the Western office, and I made."vroom, vroom" noises, like kids make when they pretend to drive a car. Lol, guess he didn't believe my vroom sounded like my actual car. I can't believe people really fall for these scams.  I wish there was a way to catch these theives.
