Was randomly called by this number on my cellphone. I have never seen this number before and other websites say it might be a sales call.

I answered, a creepy voice said hey how you doing I asked who it was and they hung up.

Hey mon, the call is from Jamaica mon, and the trick is to confirm a live voice then beat it mon. 876 is Jamaica mon, and just by answering, especially live, will allow pests to pass your number along to other parties of pests to attack you, too.

Dang it, I answered it.  Only ship noises and nothing else.

Got this call--
Supposedly, I won $43 mllion from publishers clearing house.  Must be a scam call, but I'm playing dumb....making them work for the money....they think i'm going to send them a cashier's check for $25,000 to cover the 'insurance'.  I'm supposed to call them back once I get it.  I have nothing better to do today than to spend (so far) 45 minutes on the phone with them.
I reported them to my local sheriff dept and the Attorney General's office.
They just called back again----guess they think I'm gonna call about that cashier's check.

I hope you realize that 876 is not a toll free call but is an international call.  Also some of these outfits have arrangements with the phone company down there to charge $20 a minute or more and they get a cut of that per minute charge.

Pest.. scam call.

Number showed up. Would like to know who it is, and why are they calling my number.

they keep calling claiming I won $5,000,000.00 and a brand new Mercedes Benz SUV. They ALSO claim they are in Jamaica, NY, not Kingston, Jamaica.
