Call wanted to know if i was at home, claiming to be from UPS delivery.  Claimed that i won a car and could get a large check.  I told them that it was a scam and he hung up on me.

The last time one of those 876 (area code for Jamaica) people called my house, I told the guy that if he didn't stop harrassing us, I would report him. He broke out laughing and I hung up. If he found my threat funny (funny ha ha), that must mean that they have little to no chance of getting caught. They know that practically nothing will happen to them so they have every reason in the world to keep messing with people. Some of these Jamaicans seem to have too much time on their hands. That combines with the "Do not call" law pretty much being a joke.

sounded like a scam from the start. [***] with them on the phone for 10 mins or so having fun at how ignorant they were. He hung up when I told him i was going to shoot him when he picks up my western union check.. hahah ahh gotta love con artists

Called my cell saying I had won $250,000 and a 51" TV from Publishers Clearing House.  His name was Michael Johnson from UPS Delivery. After he asked me if I could take care the S&H charges of over $800, I SCREAMEDin the phone that this was a scam and hung up on him.

call stated he was from USPS, that I had won $85,000. and a 52" plasma TV fron PCH. I said that's real good seeing as how I just received the entry form yesterday and have not entered any contest. I then asked if he was from PCH and he said yes, do you want to claim your gift certificate, I said as long as it doesn't cost me anything and I thought you said you where from USPS and why would I have to pay for something I won if this was my prize, I told him that I wasn't stupid. He told me to suck this and suck that and hung up on me. I loved watching him get excited thinking he had a sucker..... Pay back's a ............you know what.......

I got a call this morning at 6:30AM.  Said his name was John Anderson and he was from Publisher's Clearing House and I had won $850,000 and a TV. He wanted to know how I felt about that.  I told him I didn't think they would call me on the phone to tell me that.  He said that the lady that usually comes to the house to tell you your a winner had a heart attack and died.  I hung up.

Man w/heavily accented voice called my cell phone and when I answered he asked who I was. I replied with "Who's calling?" and he said "This is Mark Johnson calling from UPS"
Yeah, riiiiiiiight----"Mark Johnson" has an accent THAT heavy??
I said "Really?? I don't think so! I think you're a SCAMMER! GET LOST!" and hung up.

Just how the heck did he get my cell number??  I NEVER post it online or give it out anywhere that isn't totally trustworthy.
Great. Like I don't get enough telemarketer calls on my reg. phone already, now I get to deal with crap like this on my cell. :o\

At 8:14, I recieved a call.  The caller stated he was Michael Johnson stating he was from USPS and he had a delivery for me.  I told him I was at work and hadn't ordered anything. So I wasn't falling for his scam. Then I hung up on him!
