I didn't answer, don't know anyone in Jamaica.  They called my landline.  It always gives me a moment of worry because I do emergency volunteer work at home, and lots of people nowadays move but keep their old cell number from other cities.  I don't want to miss a real call.  But from Jamaica?  Nah, not gonna answer.  And as scammers, it's pretty stupid to actually reveal an odd CID like they did.  That's a dead giveaway.  I only have a prepaid cell phone, or I'd use that to call this number back and obtain more information to tell you what kind of scam this is.  So I don't really know.  But odds are it's a scam call that's either spoofed or really international.  And again...  I don't know anyone in Jamaica.  Besides, they called my landline and if this were an emergency, whoever gave them that number would also have given them my cell, to reach me, and they would have tried that, too.  They didn't.  Ergo, scam call.
