- MBFraud - pretending to be from Publisher's Clearing House.
- LarryFishing Scam, Fraud, "POS", and anything else you might want to add, pretended to be from Publishers Clearing House and wanted to know if I got my "Prize Letter" ( B___ S___ ) I told him that it was odd for PCH to have an office in Jamaica and he hang up so fast it was unbeleiveable..........
- brandithis guy keeps calling saying hes from publisher clearing house . but keeps hanging up on me after I start asking questions ..
- Caller: spam caller fraud
- BLGot a call from this number. Said his name was Micheal Miller from publishers clearing house and I had won a prize (cash and new car). It tipped me off mainly because he never confirmed my identity at the beginning of the call and our connection was bad so he called me ma'am along with the thick accent. Never had anyone mistake me for a woman on the phone before especially if they were calling specifically for me. He gave me some bs claim number and told me to call the claims department 1-876-429-8869 so they could deliver my prize. He didn't try fishing for much information, but I did not call the number he gave as I assume they would then kick the scam up a notch. I told him it would be a few hours before I could call but they called right back after we hung up.
- Not Impressed with idiotsreceived second call from this number, thought I blocked it the first time on my cell phone... apparently not.
Anyway, the call originated in Jamaica (sp?), I checked the phone number via internet.
He said he was with "Publishers Clearing House"(PCH). Heavy accent. He said, to avoid taxes on the winnings from PCH he would arrange to have the money sent directly to me, but first needed money sent to him to "launder" the transaction so IRS won't see all the money supposedly I had won.
My daughter had a friend who fell for the scam, the friend bought a $1,000 gift card and sent the gift card's account information to this character. Which of course the %$#% has taken the money ... he's now obviously looking for more gullible victims..- Caller: Some one from Jamaica
- momma cass| 1 replyI received a call on my cell phone from 876-503-3810 claiming he was from PCH and I had won a prize of $950,000. He said I needed to call back another number( which I forgot ) and report my prize number ( which I also forgot). He said UPS would deliver a cashier's check and some amt in $50 dollar bills. I did not call back. Ten minutes later he called back but I didn't answer. I was surprised he had my number as I rarely give it out, mostly just close friends and family. PCH do not tell one ahead of time they are going to be delivered a prize. They come to your door and surprize you. I wondered about the UPS truck and if they are the logistics being used for fraud, if someone mailing a fraudulent package could be caught by the FCC.
- Caller: scamming as PCH prize patrol
- Call type: Prank

Very bad connection; the caller said something that sounded like "publisher's clearing house". I couldn't understand anything else he said, but at one point in the call, I thought I heard GOATS or SHEEP noises in the background!
