This person wanted $345.00 fee to send me the $2.5 million I won in a sweepstakes

As your call came from the Caribbean country of Jamaica (area code 876) ask them to bring a few bottles of 'Red Stripe' around & we'll go from there. (seeing as this is a well known advance-fee lottery scam) A few hot Jamaican patties would be nice to go with the beer, but not too hot.

Received a call 7/7/2015 from this # told me I had won a 1million in a sweepstake????  Kept telling person that I could not understand what he was saying.  Please repeat that!  Asked the usual of who,what,when,where, & how????  He hung up on me😊

I just got off the phone from this number. I won $850,000. When he mentioned Western Union, I said I wasn't sending anything and he hung up. Dumb scam.

Also received phone call from this guy--claiming to be a Dave Sayers-- and he wanted $585 for a registration fee for tax purposes to receive the money he said I won. Wanted me to go to a Western Union to deposit the money and also wanted me to stay on the phone with him while I even traveled there! Said he was with Publisher's Clearing House. Glad he sounded very fishy on the phone!

I won $950,000 what a scam.

i got a call from this phone # 876-503-6173 and he was speaking in a very heavy accent. unable to understand. hang up on him and it was a scam call. i have been thru this before, so knew he was lying.

I won $5 million and a new car, just text me your address. Sure it's 1900 scam street scumbag Ave , ripoffvile. LOL

876-503-9490:  received a call on my cell phone this morning!  I don't answer to unfamiliar numbers.  If no message is left, I block the caller!  Thanks for the input.

Apparently the "prize" is up to $1.8 million now...

This guy is still out there - I got a voicemail call from him while I was out of town, saying that he was with Publishers Clearing House and that I needed to call back ASAP to 1-876-503-0252.  I looked up the area code as I wasn't familiar with it as to either geographical area or possible toll-free status.  When I saw it was in Jamaica, it was clear that the call was a scam, and merited being ignored.
