Ya it's a scam saying I win 2.5 million dollars and a Mercedes if I send them 400$ lol

I received this call today yah I won 2.5 million and a brand new mercedes of my choice. wish full thinking. ha.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! I received this call saying I won $2 and a half million and a brand new Mercedes if I get a green dot card with 399.00

Caller spoke in slow thick accent saying "This is publisher (sic) clearing house I'm calling to inform you of your"... I hung up. SCAM!

This dude called me today, and I started preaching to him about my (made up) religion and how we can't accept material things, we just enjoy the average qualities of life. He seemed a little irritated, told me to have a blessed day and hung up quickly.

I just received this same call and was told to call another "866" phone number to verify, and then call them back at a third number!!!!

Just got that same call from a man with a very heavy accent. I figured if it WAS  PCH, some one that spoke perfect english would be on the other end. Its a  SCAM !!!!

I received this call saying I won $2 and a half million and a brand new Mercedes if I get a green dot card with 299.00

Caller - a Jay Brown supposedly from Publishers Clearing House - telling me that I was a winner and had won 2.5 million and a new Mercedes with a license # 0427UF (new?) Had to first obtain a green dot card from either Walgreens or Kmart. Traced the phone number to Jamaica 867-529-1490

A call from Jay Brown, had a Jamacian accent. Used very porographic language.

Also, DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER BACK!

Some area codes are not toll-free numbers and calls from any other area code are billed at international long distance rates.

Some curious people return the call and will immediately be charged $19.95 for an international call fee and an additional $9-per-minute charge, according to a news release from the BBB.

Consumers across the country report calls from the Dominican Republic (809), Jamaica (876), British Virgin Islands (284) and Grenada (473), as well as some other area codes

NOTE:
Some scam calls show a LOCAL Caller ID, but returning the call is autoforwarded to one of the area codes mentioned above.  If you returned the call, and heard two very quick rings, followed by normally spaced rings, you were caught ... and will be billed for the long distance call.

Additionally, if you return any scammer's call, they can claim YOU initiated the "business arrangement" or YOU solicited the information ... and you will be put on several scammers' lists of numbers to call.

So, the lesson is: NEVER return the call made from an unknown number, specially if that caller did not leave a message!

I answered call, thick accent male said his name was Amrinder Hundle.I Couldnt understand him, I asked a few times to repeat him self. After 3rd time he popped off calling me racial slurs and called me an infidel enemy of Goat??

I got a call this morning at 7:37 AM CST!!  I didn't even look at the caller ID because of the time, I thought it was someone important!! Male caller informed me of my prize from PCH. I don't subscribe to anything PCH so I hung up on him before he could finish the rest of my "prize winnings"

They are using a new number now.  876-378-5447.  Same story though.

Thieves calling me 3 times today to go to Walmart to pick up the prize

Said you won 6 million through PCH plus a new Mercedes and requested money be sent to 4430 NW 14th Street Lauderhill Florida to a James Grofepp as well as 1237 SW 46th Ave. apt. 802 Pompano Beach Florida to a Sharon Taylor.  Big time scam.

File a complaint with the FTC  enclose all the information you have about the names and addresses of the money mules for these scammers.

Man claims to be with PCH and gives you the whole speel about how you've won 2.5 Million plus a new car.

They have started using this again. I had the exact same call. Thick accept, almost sounded robotic. I hung up at the same point in the call.
