Call my # today. Sounds fishy to me. So I'm checking this out.

876 is the area code for Jamaica. Unless you have a contact there, it is near 100% certain to be a scam.

Received a call from 876-582-0423.  Saw Jamaica in the caller ID.  Figured if it was legitimate, they could leave a message.  No message. As Mike in MD points out above, “Unless you have a contact there, it is near 100% certain to be a scam".

I received a call from 876-582-0423 and the following msg was left on my voicemail, "Hello, this is Dave Sayers, from the Publishers Clearing House, we are calling to notify you you're this month's lucky winner of a whopping $850,000.00 and a brand new Mercedes Benz car.  You can call us on this number to claim your prize.  1-876-582-0423."

i got woken up this morning by a call from this number, on the other end was an obviously foreign man telling me i had won publishers clearing house, i told him that i had NEVER entered the contest so he hung up. i am a VERY UNHAPPY AMERICAN.  whoever this scammer is has been using the same number, for years from the same location, using the same story.  SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
