Received call, could hardly understand caller, heavy accent.  First time he called I figured it was a scam and hung up.  He said he was calling from Washington DC and had a certified check for me.  That is when I hung up.  He called right back, this time said he was calling from Columbus Ohio and I was next on his delivery list.  I asked him for the name on the delivery, he said John.  Hung up again.

Just another phone scammer..Do not answer.  

Received call today on my personal unlisted telephone number.  Said I'd won 12 million dollars from a lottery from Mega Millions Company.  Maybe because that's my state's lottery name and he (they) used my area code to figure that out.  I said I'd never bought a lottery ticket, he said he was sure I'd heard before that it can be won without one (!).  Then he asked if I'd ever bought anything at Target or Kmart or some other place, which I said no.  I asked how he got my number, he said his manager gave it to him.  Repeated several times that his name was David Goodman and he was the manager and I wouldn't be talking to him if I hadn't won.  I said I didn't believe him and he asked if I'd never been lucky in my life.  Said that's not the point, I felt it was not a legitimate call, and hung up.  I immediately got three calls back within about three minutes so I disconnected my messaging system.  Had a very Jamaican-sounding accent.  I've never had scams like this happen before but have heard many news reports about it in general.

received a call from this number... Said I had won 1.8 million dollars and a new mercedes, sponsored by Donald Trump.  Call was from Jamaica, his reason for this was that they used a 'roaming phone' because they travel to deliver these prizes.  Hung up right away the first time, called back immediately, ignored, called again, spoke for 5 mins as he explained my prize and that all i need to do is do a western union transfer of $399 for verification, hung up and blocked the number, 2 mins later received a call from an unknown number, ignored.  Obviously a scam, would've been nice though.

My neighbor received 12 calls from this number this weekend from a David Williams claiming to be with American Cash Reward and Computer Refunding. He also calls from 425-369-7352. He says he needs a routing number and account number so he can deposit $150,000. My neighbor was hacked just before this by someone claiming to be Microsoft. Unfortunately, she gave them ALL her personal information, and she lost the content ps of her bank account. Police were called, virus software has been run, not just the incessant phone calls to deal with. Be careful out there, folks!
